“I know I’m not the best at humor. I’m not Shippo who always knows how to make me laugh.” Kagome replies, appreciating Koga at least being somewhat positive despite her udder failure at humor. It had been a while since she had run into the wolf demon, and she thought it best to greet him with some sort of jest, especially since his stomach growled so loudly.
Brown hues narrowed as she saw him reach for her bag, Kagome quickly turning to block him from doing so. If he was hungry, then the girl would gladly pick out an item for him to consume. She had learned her lesson from her experiences with Inuyasha and Shippo to let any hungry demon or half-demon dig through her bag alone.
“Let me grab something for ya, Koga. You sound like you’re starving! Did you and your pack have trouble hunting?” She says, digging through her heavy bag to find something that would help to quench his hunger. Her eyes then lay upon a bag of plain potato chips that she soon takes out and offers it to the other in a gentle fashion. They were Shippo’s favorite, but luckily Kagome had more inside the backpack to give to him later.
“Here ya go! These chips should help settle your stomach a bit. By the way Koga, where is the rest of your pack anyway? Did you leave them in the dust again?”
