Hello Youmavale listeners...
Sunday, just about noon, in front of Hall C, a listening party will take place with the wonderful Will Burgess. Please come stop by, join us, become us, you were always one of us. There really is no point in resisting.
So I took the oldest girl I nanny and her friend to youmacon this weekend. We had sooo much fun! 90% of the pictures I took include them in their adorable costumes, so I am not going to post them. But here’s a few from Saturday, when I cosplayed Khoshekh, the floating cat from Welcome to Night Vale. I got a short break from nannying to go to a listening party/photoshoot while girls had dinner with her mom. ^^

Youma Vale UPDATE:
We will meet tomorrow (Saturday) for a NEW EPISODE LISTENING PARTY at 5:00 PM on the main level of Cobo Hall at the bottom of the escalators where you get off the People Mover (ie: the other side of the rest of the con).
If you have portable speakers, please bring them to the listening party, as we may need them.
We will then have a photoshoot following our listening party.
See you then, listeners, and SPREAD THE WORD, please!
WTNV Photoshoot at Youmacon: Friday at 7 PM in the Wintergarden. So far this has been listed as the official shoot location since before the new Ren Cen rules went into effect. That may affect some Faceless Old Women, I suspect, so if we need to change locations, respond please! We can decide if we want to do a Saturday shoot or a listening party after the Friday photoshoot. The new November bonus episodes will be out that weekend, so maybe we can all listen at the bloodstones together!
A message to all citizens.
If you believe that your cosplay, or perhaps a friend’s cosplay will be violating GM’s “no masks, no weapon-like props” rules, please, let me or any of the other organizers know right away. If we need to change the location to somewhere in Cobo, we would like to get the world out ASAP.
I’ll encourage you to share this message with any of your Michiganvale followers. I’ll also copy it over to the Michiganvale Facebook group!
Possible 6/15 Meet Up?
Hello! My name is Riley and I've been holding meet ups at the Meridian Mall in Okemos for a few years now. I wanted to try to bring this into the Night Vale fandom too! I'd love to host a meet up for the 2nd anniversary. As we get closer there will be more specific plans (cookies, listening parties, etc.), but first I need to gauge interest.
