Are you in Eugene or Portland?
Eugene forevah! well, pretty much evah.
Will you be here this summer?
Yes indeed! It's going to a lovely summer of fun and being social and living better.
So what're you afraid of?
Oh, all kinds of things. Of turning out like either of my parents (mostly my dad though). Of being alone. Of not being honest. Of being afraid of love.

As a white person, I can tell you I personally do not and have never seen or heard of it until this moment.
I went to my ex's house yesterday and she was making burgers and when i suggested she cook the patties with a little bacon grease she was really confused at the concept
You're so kind, H. And an inspiration. <3
Whaaaat I don’t even know how that is possible! But also thank you, you are so sweet and talented and lovely.
What're the deets? I've had really negative experiences with laptops, especially with their lifespans. I'm fully Apple integrated already, and with a future in education and Apple being the dominant format in the schools, I wasn't planning on jumping back over...but I want to be an informed citizen! Thanks for imput thus far, keep it comin'!

I’m sure there are are more things to cover, and maybe even something here or there I got wrong. I took all my info straight from Amazon. True, mac is the staple in the art/photography industry. And the fact that ‘everyone’ uses it will likely get in the way in the future with the compatibility issues. Specifically with external hard drives. Those are a terrible. And I DO highly recommend always being familiar with OS operating systems. Again, the industry.
But just with the above information provided, and myself being a poor college student…. its not even a question. Less than half the price? That’s money I could be spending on Pizza.
As for the operating system, I’m not a fan of Windows 8 but I don’t mind that much. And if anyone cared enough… well they can easily uninstall that and reinstall Windows 7 no problem.
One last point with retina display- something my dad once told me- that until the incredible “high quality" display becomes a norm in everyday life… its overcompensating. If you aren’t putting out images that are chalk filled with information and coloring- the display literallycompensates for you, and guesses extra information to fill in if the quality doesn’t match the display- especially in photos.
Anyhow. I’m not one to judge. Some people just like the user-friendliness of mac. For those who don’t like to customize mac is for you. As for me, I kinda like not having the same laptop as everybody ellllllse. Cuz I’m a hipster like that. Plus, if I ever wanted more memory or something in my computer, I could just take the thing apart and add it in. Macs do not have that compatibility. They are set in the state they are.
Sorry this was such a lengthy one! :D
