Update is coming in three chapters. Last major fic update for a while, what with school starting up again this coming week. Will probably still post doodles and concepts, though.

She’d bet it looks just lovely. Perhaps with a bouquet of flowers held to his chest, close to his heart, posed under a blanket of moss just waiting to be uncovered. Like a secret kept between him and the thicket, it patiently waits through the tide of time in sweet repose until the moment strikes someone should wake him up.

Life is not a poem.

Chapter 7: To Be Resolved Again

The only way he can reassure himself that Opal is still here, in Ballonlea, and still exists are the posters lining the walls of Ballonlea gym, featuring a striking woman sitting atop one of the many, many layers of a gigantamaxed alcremie. He’d know that sly smile anywhere.

Based on the concept art. I really did draw an entire 50s theater star Opal just to draw over it, so here, have a poster that was probably at least at one point her rare trainer card.

Allister and Opal head into Ballonlea to explore. Considering that Allister has been dead for fifty years, there are complications to iron out.

New chapter of The Ghost of Glimwood Tangle is up. I really wanted this to exist, but had a heck of a job drawing it. Click to make it bigger, if you’re inclined. Inspired by this vintage Halloween postcard, of course.

Bonus: In this AU, Allister died in 1891. He’s either nervous in this picture, like the chapter, or trying to stay still for as long as it would have taken a photograph to expose.
