Young Prince Albert (seated) with fellow cadets aboard the steamship Chippewa during a visit to Niagara in June 1913.
The future King George VI and his fellow cadets were on a six-month training voyage of the high seas aboard HMS Cumberland as the final stage of their naval training before qualifying as midshipmen. Albert was aged seventeen.
Look at that baby face!
Photo is copied from George VI by Patrick Howarth. (Which is a better book than I was expecting!)
