Was Wayne "close" with any girl b4 he was taken into the don't starve world?
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “ “close” “, but there has been a few girls who more or less made an impact in his life. One of them a childhood friend I’m guessing many of you will recognize.
Also when he moved out to work, he shared a tenement flat with one of his co-workers and their family (plus another co-worker). He did develop a sort of brotherly-sisterly relationship with the youngest daughter of the family. But I’ll talk more about that some other day.
And that’s pretty much it for now.

Made a dump of Wayne when he was young. He’s supposed to be around seven years old here; aka before he got adopted. Threw in a couple references as well ^^
Not very used to draw children, so it was quite experimental :P

"I know," Wayne guiltily rumbles. A shadow of deeply seeded humor flickers beneath bleary, red-tinted orbs. Alfred was RIGHT. He was almost always RIGHT. Mother used to say it was his experience that made him so wise. At this moment, she was inclined to agree. "I don't WANT to sleep."
The headache itself attested to it as she laid her head on his knee. Her tight chest struggles to permit an eased breath. The nightmares still visit EVERY time her lashes flutter closed, so she has been maintaining continuous vigil for FAR too long. Her hands reach upwards and rub at burning eyes till she could view the ceiling more clearly. "Is it terrible that I don't even remember what day of the week it is?" Without her parents to dictate her schedule, getting used to the NEW routine was incredibly difficult.
"How do you do it, Alfred?" She murmurs dazidly. "How do you carry everything so well? Why can't I be as STRONG as you?"
