Hey guys, my name is Drake and I'm a young business owner from Michigan. I got into business at the age of 19 with a nightclub called D4. In the beginning that building was used by google for events in the area. After we got the building, I grabbed a sledgehammer and started breaking everything to form it into a building that was built for success. Before long the building had full sound coordinated lighting, a speaker system to shake the walls, a beautiful wooden stage, and a group of business partners I worked with to make the business a success. We faced many hardships and lost plenty of money trying to get that building up to code and fixing all the old building violations. There were many times where we all sat in the office frustrated that our dreams were put on hold. After paying for everything to get fixed and getting all the proper licensing we were finally able to get the all rolling for the famous Michigan car show "the Woodward dream cruise". We had the entire building set up for the after party, music playing, and me and my associates with glasses in our hands cheering to the success we dreamed of. Not long after, a police officer walked through the door to let us know that there will be no party, that the city violated the building on occupancy and we had to get that sorted out first. While we were frustrated, we knew it wasn't the police departments fault. So we came up with a plan, we utilized the open park right next to our building and did some heavy lifting to set up the park for the now outdoor show we wanted to have. It was a success, DJ showed up, people poured in, we even brought a grill and gave everyone free food. From that point on we fixed the rest of the issues and continued on with our new found success. Not long after I organized an event with a group of local DJ's to do a show called nuclear new year! We busted our asses to promote and prayed that this show wouldn't be a bust. Then that Saturday came, and I ended up throwing the biggest New Years party in the county. 900-1000 people show up and we give them the experience of a lifetime. From that point on I continued to work as hard as I could, long hours, coming home at 5am after the party ended and we paid the employees. Regardless of how constantly tired we all were, we kept it going. Not long after that we had big names coming in. Ace hood did a show, Boosie did a show, a couple members from the show wild n out did a comedy show. We were having the times of our lives. So now that you know my background, you will now understand what I post. My success has helped many friends find jobs, helped them go from small checks bi-weekly to big checks weekly. Now with the help of my best friend, we are opening one of the most expensive venues in the state (which I can not provide details of because it's supposed to be a surprise). This blog is dedicated to young people who want support in business, people who want to be their own bosses and live comfortably for the rest of their lives, and I'm here to help you!
