Sam was just trying to get back to his dorm, he had assignments to do, exams to study for. It was just like any other day save for the alert that had been sent out to students earlier. A convict had escaped from a prison in the area. It wasn't right next to the campus or anything, but it was just slightly too close for comfort. That's why Sam's shoes scuffed on the sidewalk the smallest bit faster, trying to get back to the safety of his room. Dean Winchester, escapee, was lingering just out of sight. Anyone attending a prestigious college like this one must be well-enough off to bribe some ransom money out of. The sound of sneakered footsteps drew close to where he was hidden. He didn't think, reached out and grabbed the student coming down the path, pulled him into the shaded alley between class buildings.
