It wasn’t exactly the first time Rayla had gone breaking into her fathers office in the dead of night, at this point in time she had learnt the guards routines and was more than capable to get around them, she closed the door softly, taking the small purple worm she had been gifted months ago, and let him find a settled place along her ear as she pulled up a chair in front of the mirror and took a seat.
In all honesty Aaravos had been expecting her. The elf was sitting at his desk with a book patiently reading as he waited for the young elf to find her way to the mirror. As if on cue once the worm was perched on her ear he closed the book and neatly placed it on his desk. He looked up to the girl before standing and crossing over to stand in front of the mirror.
“You’re getting better at sneaking in here.”
