Usually it was the other way around, so how had he gotten himself into this predicament? Well he blamed the brawl he was trying to stop at the tavern earlier. Fortunately the blade didn’t hit his gut, however the sting in his harm caused him to hiss as he felt the male tending to the gash on his arm. “I’m not this careless. I would have stopped him.” he stated which was far from the truth. If Anton hadn’t shown up in time, he would have been a living doll with holes he was sure of it.
“-----But thank you for helping.”
And he wasn’t just speaking about the wound he was cleaning, but for helping him out of that tavern as well.
