I love the conceptualization of Hozier as this mythical poet of the bog but when I saw him perform live his shoe was untied for half the set and he didn’t notice

My home feels like I'm in the belly of a boat, deep under. I like to pretend I'm in the Hidden East Wing or in the Never Enter That Room Attic, or in the Mad Maiden Aunt's Private Chambers, Locked Since The Day She Died. I like to pretend there is, of course, a huge house stretching out around me, and huger grounds around that - but I am presently confined by my memories to this set of rooms.
Today is observed as Dissociative Identity Disorder Awareness Day. I’ll hopefully be able to make a longer post regarding this sentiment, but just want to remind you that systems are real, dissociative disorders are real, and we struggle. We are real people with what is best described as a fragmented separation of consciousness between two or more conscious “parts”, alternatively called alters or headmates.
