Some background for this comic
In chapter one after your first introduction to a Tiki, it’s mentioned that you hoped to find a plushy of the adorable animatronic in the gift shop. You end up getting distracted and forget to revisit the shop and look for one.
Now for the future
You’re lounging by the pool watching some Tikis play around and a few kids run over to join in on the fun. At some point there is a slip with a Tiki’s ankle joint taking some damage and you hurry over to check them out, Tiki seems to be fairing well but is unable to stand up and you figure it’s best to bring them to Sun or Moon so their not overcrowded by the gathering kids.
You muster your strength to pick them up and the now worried kids ask if your the Tiki’s mom and if their going to be alright. Wanting to both get going and ease the children’s minds, you reassure them that Tiki will be just fine.
Then a child points and says “here comes Tiki’s dad” (Unbeknownst to you, Moon immediately gets notified if a Tiki is injured and was already on his way)
He arrives and takes Tiki from you all the while the same kid is announcing to all the others that “It’s okay. Tiki’s parents are going to take care of them”
Moons confused look turns to amusement and you can already tell that this will not be let go so easily.
Jump a little more forward to the comic where Sun and Moon surprise you (in your pajamas) with a Tiki Plush, and teasingly insist on taking some family photos. The whole ordeal is so hilariously adorable you’re happy to humor them.
Tiki was fixed up and back in the park within an hour. That one now has a bad habit of faking falls to get your attention.
