A Whole New World || Mickey & Ian

Ian and Mickey had gotten their shit together after they had gotten the attempted murder charges on Sammi dropped. They were married and when Svetlana ended up getting deported because she got arrested for beating up the mother of a kid who picked on Yev for having two dads, they ended up raising him. Mickey had opened a garage and Ian had become a paramedic. They were able to get out of the Southside and over two years build a house with help of their Gallagher and Milkovich siblings, all of whom had gone straight.  It had been three years and their now nine year old son hadn’t stopped begging for siblings since then. They had decided against surrogacy because it was super expensive and the two women they trusted to carry the baby to term were either in Russia or were now married to Lip and growing their own babies. They ended up deciding on fostering to adopt since they wanted to give kids who had a bad start in life a better life overall.  

That’s why Ian ended up sitting on a chair in the hospital at the end of his shift. His last run had been horrific. Eight year old twin girls and their five year old brother had come home to find both parents dead and their three and one year old siblings covered in blood. Worse off it was in the worst area of the Southside and the kids had to go to the Kash n Grab to call 911 since they had no phone. Ian had immediately thought to call Mickey about taking the kids in so they won’t be seperated. Now he was waiting for the two youngest to be looked over by a doctor and for Mickey and the social worker to show up so they could sign paperwork and take the kids home. While he waited he did his best to reassure the four older ones that they were safe while holding the baby who was fast asleep.

“Thank you....” Betty breathed softly as he released her wrist, gentle hues peering up at the lanky male through her lashes. Hesitantly, she began inching her hand forward, her smooth fingertips peppering across the brusied skin of his eye socket. “What happened?” She whispered, a frown twisting the corners of her lips. Before, Betty wouldn’t have spent much time around the Serpent. But after her night of humiliation, he’d come to her aid. And now, it was her turn to do the same for him. “You should let me ice that for you... It’ll help the swelling.” // - @yourcrazymuses (based on the ask!)

The dark circles under his eyes showed that he hasn’t had a good sleep in days, the guilt that he was feeling was eating him alive. It was a drunken mistake and perhaps it happened because they’ve missed Betty and Archie so much. It was natural, best friends usually started looking alike when they were so close. Yet, there was not a justification for what they have done, looking for the warmth of the loved one in another person’s arms. His burger was standing in front of him and he couldn’t really manage to take a bite. Everything tasted like dirt, his own body punishing him for his mistake. If it happened to someone else, probably he would have written a chapter for it by now. However, it was always harder to write about your own personal tragedies. His eyes focused on Veronica and he bit his lower lip. “ What are we going to do ?” It was the first time he was trying to look for the answer somewhere else, he was too lost to think.

Rogue rounded the corner of the hallway to enter the library, one that was in one of the higher levels of the mansion and further away from other common spaces. It made for a good hiding spot, she knew that from experience. She smiled as she saw Blindfold at a table, “There ya are. Ah was coming to get ya to see if ya wanna go with me to the mall? Ah managed to convince ol’ Wolvie to be the chauffeur.”

Closed-Mickey&Ian

Mickey had got to sleep last the night before, it was becoming harder for him to put Yevgeny to bed since Svetlana decided they would trade off night during the week, which was ridiculous since the kid slept in her fucking room. His hand rests on top of Ian’s arms as he sleeps. It’s interrupted by a loud cry and his eyes open again, blood shot from the lack of sleep. His eyes find the clock. “Holy fuck it’s 6 in the fucking morning.” He grumbles, annoyed, rolling out of the bed and trudging out of the room. “Shut the fucking kid up, its not that hard fucking rock him and shit jesus!” He opens the door to Svetlana’s room, only to have the baby shoved into his chest. “are you serious? I put him to bed last night?!” She mutters something about him being an asshole, shutting her bedroom door in her face. He looks down at the baby, his eyes softening a little despite how utterly exhausted her was. He begins to rock the baby until it calms down, cradling him to his chest Mickey moves to the kitchen, getting a bottle out of the fridge.

Alec had been throwing knives at a target and maybe was just a bit jumpy cause when somebody crept behind him. He spun around with the dagger in hand. On seeing who it was set it down,”That’s it I need air so unless you’re bleeding severely or something I’ll redirect you to whoever gives decent advice.”
