‘ i always loved you… i still love you. ’ he looks at josh hopelessly, but he crumbles as his eyes look down at the sleeping form of the older boy. ‘ i just… i need you to wake up… please. ’ he sinks his teeth into his bottom lip as thin fingers wrap around josh’s limp hand. ‘ i can’t do this without you, josh… ’
“i can’t believe you actually watch this stuff.” huffing a heavy breath, he squirms back in his seat with arms crossed at his chest, giving him a hard and playful nudge. “i don’t glow in the sunlight - actually i’d get a sun burn.” he’s joking now, sticking his tongue out.
he slides into the seat next to the other. ❝ hi, sorry to like---bother you, but that’s a super cool camera, dude. ❞ lee’s not usually one for initiating conversation so quickly, but he’ll make an exception if he thinks someone is into film. ❝ you do a lot with it? ❞
It’s taken more effort, more exertion than Chris is used to, and the man under him is a wriggly fella, fishy-slippery. And he’s given Chris more than a run for his money, despite looking like more of a dodger than a fighter, and supplying plenty of both -- almost dislocated Chris’ arm. So yeah, Chris is a little tired, and a little annoyed, and is ready to get this over with. Which’ll only annoy him with how unsatisfying rushing through with this sort of thing is. And it’ll only rattle his blood, rattle him into a mistake. Oh, perfect, he can see it now--
The man underneath squirms underneath him, working up to a thrashing wriggle, or at least nearly did until Chris presses into his already heavy lean, forearm across his throat, both hands above his head, and legs more or less useless. Won’t be for long if Chris doesn’t hurry it up.
So Chris snarls into the other man’s face: “By the time anyone finds your body, they won’t be able to identify it.”
The man stills, then snorts like he’s unimpressed.
“S’that it?” And Chris’ cheeks burn, like he’s been slapped, and the guy underneath him doesn’t even sound out of breath. “What is this, Chris, foreplay?”
“WH--?”
And then it’s all fallen to pieces because Josh is grinning underneath him, knowing that he’s got Chris’ jimmies rustled. God damn. But that’s part of practice, apparently, and it’s more than enough to shift Chris’ centre of mass, and leave Josh with enough wiggle room -- ohfuckingshit -- to push and flip the tables. Ah. Almost identical to before, now. Good job, Chris.
“Sloppy, Chris.”
“Fuck off, I only got caught once, and that was by you.”
A laugh and a kiss, and a tsk-tsk-tsk, you need more practice.
“Once! Oh my God, Josh--”
“And the wolf only needs to catch you once.” Do his teeth gleam? No, not quite.
“Oooh, poetic. Recite some Tennyson, why don’t you?”
@yourenotreal || it’s ya boy comin’ in to wreck ur schemes, br0h

Jake tells Ash and Chris to stay where they are when Josh starts with the noise. The knot in his stomach grows with a lead weight, knowing that he’ll have to explain to them at some point, explain what Josh has (had) in mind for them all.
“Fucking listen to me and stay there,” Jake says, voice raising with force, not caring -- oh, in fact, hoping! -- that Josh hears him. Ash still takes a half-step forward, but no more than that. They don’t leave, and they won’t see this, thank God.
Jake grips the door’s handle, jiggling it, and then moves to shoulder the door open. And even though he knows Josh’s cries are fake, it still fills him with a worry.
“Joshua--”
The door swings open -- did Josh let go? Fuck, shit, shit--
