Sprinting down the nearest alleyway, Jay Sylvestro skirted past some trash bags and leaped onto the nearest dumpster, lunging forward and groping for the fire escape above him. Unfortunately, he had missed a step and fell face first into the nearest bag of trash, which happened to be full of moth-eaten clothing. Ew. Nasty. Spitting out a mothball--which had done no use against the hungry moths--Jay tried to get his momentum back up by bolting down the alleyway, taking note of the shouts he heard from behind him:
"Oi! There he is! The slimy weasel is making away with my money!"
Earlier, Jay had found himself playing an innocent game of poker at a sports grille; which turned out to be for real and he had basically 'counted' the cards and practically conned the man who was chasing him out of his money. These were ordinary people; otherwise Jay would've flown away. But no. He had to get away the ninja way and try and leap around like Spider-Man. Which obviously wasn't easy, since Jay couldn't stick to walls. He ducked as a bullet wedged itself in the brick wall of an old building not three inches from Jay's head. Finding his resources limited, Jay tried to gather and observe as much as the area he was surrounded with as possible. Any quick way to get out was key. He'd rather not go all psycho dragon on these guys. Did not look good on him if they went around gabbing about a dragon in New York City. Then they'd be considered insane and sent tot he nearest insane asylum. Jay normally wouldn't care about that part, but his elder brother told him that the less 'mortals' knew about him and his brother--who was also half-dragon--the better. Besides, Russ had told Jay to keep his head low and not cause any trouble--like accidentally conning a man out of his money by playing a game of poker. It wasn't Jay's fault that it was an actual game between a few shady men who were actually playing for real.
Nonetheless, he decided to play the safe card and made a beeline for another alleyway that he believed would lead to the epicenter of New York transaction: lots of people, lots of cars, and mounted policemen. The perfect disguise.
Instead, as Jay came rounding a corner at a very high rate of speed--and looking behind him to see what his pursuers were doing--he failed to stop in time and collided with someone he hadn't seen in quite a while...
@ curious Anon: I've been with my boyfriend for three years c: Many more to come
My boyfriend and I play an online MMO where you can get married, and the marriage pack costs 30 dollars. I wanted some extra money so I could spend it on other items I need, so I told my mom I wanted a fifty dollar gift card for the game for Christmas, nothing else. Well, today, I just got fifty dollars from my grandmother. Guess where the money is going? I can't wait until Christmas...♥
