Reuniting || John and Sheamus
It was a very chilly, cloudy day when the tall redhead took himself out to jog around the nearby park for a bit, feeling sweat stick his simple white short sleeve to his skin as he soon slowed to a walking pace, threading his fingers together to control his breathing. He still wasn't used to being out of work for so long, the longing and irritable itch to be back in the ring was slowly wearing away at his patience. But he had but a few more months or so to go, and he was glad that the days were passing by quickly for him.
From reading to children, making appearances in various places, and doing interviews was a blessing to him, for it helped him fight the thoughts that swirled on returning to the ring, but none of it helped when he was all alone. Not even PT could help him out when he sat in his house, hating the silence that was his new best friend as he often stayed up late at night wondering about a certain man who had once again disappeared from his life, leaving little to no explanation on why he didn't at least tell him goodbye before he left him with a heavy, lonely heart.
'Stop it, Stephen. Cena has better things to worry about other than a broken ginger...' He made a sad noise as he sat down on a nearby bench, ignoring the cold biting into his sweatpants as he gazed up at the cloudy autumn sky, running a hand through his sweaty red spiky hair before he let himself get lost in his thoughts, idly wishing that he had someone to cuddle and love while not noticing that the man invading his thoughts and heart was closer to him than he thought he was.
