At this point, sadly yes. I cannot imagine the writers salvaging their relationship in season 6 (which I think will be the last season, at least for Paul because I can't imagine why he would sign up for more seasons). The constant praising of DE by other characters including Stefan and  the "Elena makes Damon a better person" throughout season 5 for me is proof enough that the writers are really not going for SE anymore. (Although I can guess that by now they're reconsidering their writing because look at the ratings - series low after series low)

Im guessing this is asking if I ship Delena. Yes and No. I was all for them season 1-3 but season 4 with the sire bond just made it feel forced and unreal to me. Season 5 I'm kinda back that way because the writers are finally saying things like they are bad for each other and they shouldnt be together. But it's a complicated relationship with them lol

i think they're gonna be in some dark dimension together at the end of season 5 because of the spoiler that was just released about the finale!

i just finished season3.. do you know when will season 4 start and how many season we have until finale season?

Season 4 will very likely premiere September 28.

There's no way of knowing how many more seasons the series will go, but my guess is two more.

do you still hope for se?

Unfortunately i do. I wish i could quit them but i can't. I think i'm a masochist(sp?)/glutton for punishment lmao, cos i ship things that aren't emotionally healthy for me, & it's been proven over the seasons that they will never be over, they are meant to be together, no matter how bleak it looks for them, and i love them so much i just can't give up on them, i really love their relationship, it's a mature, loving relationship where both parties are respectful of eachother's choices, they have both seen the best and the worst of eachother, they both never stop fighting for the other, i can't give up on a ship like that.
