In the late 1980’s I was drawn to Alphabet City by the incredibly powerful energy of of a thriving punk/activist/art scene- one hub of this was the legendary @bulletspacecollab where as young punks we would volunteer to screenprint posters for the #yourhouseismine book in trade for prints to keep. Today i had time to swing by for the latest show, “Shoot the Pump”, put together by @leequinones & @andrewcastrucci 🤯 mind blowing stuff and really great glimpse into #nyc #les #loisaida underground art culture where you can really see the greater impact these moments had on contemporary art and action.
