Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!
These aren't in any particular order, just the order in which they popped into my head. There are tons more but I managed to narrow it down:
1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling (yeah I know this is on everyone's list. But it's the first book I remember my dad reading to me, and the one that sparked my love of fantasy and magic.)
2. Eragon by Christopher Paolini
3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
4. Marlfox by Brian Jacques (the first big book I read on my own. in third grade)
5. American Gods by Neil Gaiman
6. Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman
7. Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy
8. Pendragon Series by DJ MacHale
9. The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
10. Hamlet by Shakespeare
1. mrthorinton (so you'll see this:)
Hopefully you all actually see this.... :)
