Also here I come again with another thing I appreciate about the way you write Scott... YOU INCLUDE THAT HE'S MEXICAN AMERICAN. As fellow Mexican American that fucking means sooo much to me. And yea ughh.. Steve and Stiles adopting each other is one of the best things ever. You've combined two of my faves and made them family. And then once Bucky comes around... fuck that shit is gonna hurt so bad (in the best way). Yea I can go on and on about this verse of yours.

I don't pretend to be above ego-stroking, so feel free to. :P

In all seriousness, I wish both the show and the fandom would take more measures to remember it, so I try to include it in my fanfic as much as possible.

Heyyy just dropping by to let ya know that I have finally come up for air after finishing up the whole Winter Wolves series in less than 24 hrs. Don't worry I did sleep I promise. I fucking love it and the way you write Scott in relation to canon Scott as opposed to fanon Scott of the Sterek fandom is my favorite thing. You don't know how many times I've completely skipped over a fic just because it include the 'bad friend Scott' tag. It's my biggest pet peeve. (1/2)

(2/2) The Sciles friendship means so much to me and the way the Sterek fandom treats it is my biggest gripe with the fandom. I'm with your fic for the long haul and thanks for sharing. I can't wait till we get further into the series to see how they all deal with each other and the events coming their way, for everyone's reactions to Stiles's Uncle Steve being Cap and vice versa with the Avengers finding out about Werewolves. I have a feeling the Avengers might get protective of teens.

Glad to hear you got enough sleep! I'm glad people like my fanfic, but I don't want anyone jeopordizing their health over it. :P

I have issues with the fact society at large likes to romanticize the idea that a person's only "real" connection in their life should be their romantic partner. (Very conveniently, this also tends to enable emotional abuse quite well.) The fact that so many Sterek fanfics write the pairing as if it would be impossible for Stiles to have a relationship with Derek if he also had one with Scott is a symptom of that very toxic mentality. Which is ironic because Scott is like Stiles' biggest shipper on deck. He did have personal issues with Derek, but he never begrudged anyone else's connections to Derek, just Derek's M.O. in dealing with their supernatural problems. Hell, in later seasons, if Stiles had actually expressed any interest in Derek, Scott would've been the one telling them both to go for it. :P

I'm glad you like my fic. I'm hoping to update the series, soon. In leiu of that, I'm posting a lot of author commentary to hide just how spectacularly thick my writing block is, right now. :P
