Could you explain your latest Doppio Diavolo art please? I don't understand the story behind it thanks!

o ive never gotten an ask abt my drawings before :^) I honestly didnt expect anyone to see it, but it has 90 notes now!

if youre wondering why doppio and diavolo are both there, its because this is taking place inside of doppio or rather diavolos head (diavolo can be seen but we dont see his face, the angle also suggests this is from his point of view, if it was to be cropped to his head, wed see diavolo looking at doppio)

The image is slightly tilted and lays flat, everything in diavolos view is also in his perspective because he is in the middle center of our view. everything is tinted pink (diavolos signature color)

Notice that there are no other people present. The only other person there besides them is trish, but she is only showing her foot and is out of the picture. I wanted to include her as a hint to their connection.

(referencing her boot was hard, her colour scheme stays consistent but the design of her shoes really doesnt)

going with the theme of classical painting, i included A LOT of vanitas and symbolism, like the food on the table representing characters named after the food (jojo wikia thank you for my life resources) its a free tapas for the Big Man

diavolos outfit is what he is wearing in one of his first appearances in the manga, i thought it looked snazzy as hell

it stands in contrast to doppios which is multicoloured, more casual and arguably makes him look younger, he is wearing glasses like the disguise used by trish in her introduction because he acts as a disguise for diavolo

In short, the scene takes place in diavolos head with symbols of different elements in the story. The time is at the beginning of vento aureo where none of our main cast has died yet. diavolo is thinking of (killing) trish, and fugo is leaving the gang. pre-villain introduction clothes on doppio and diavolo

Thats my breakdown of my own draw. For art with more detail i often put more thought into the drawing so it doesnt get boring for me :^)
