Your Road

No matter how much you shouldn’t, sometimes you wish you had another life. One less difficult & extremely tiresome, less complicated, one where all your dreams could just come true in a blink of an eye. It's normal because you think of your life needs readjusting or changing, BUT what we forget is in that imperfections, that's where GOD works. In those eagerly anticipated blue ticks moment’s patience is often found in the grey.

They'll always be something you lack. #Seriously. People are #Legit never happy. Nigger got a promotion, BUT now it means less times for the boys, Girl makes her own green, she lacks in friends, you're in a relationship, people don't want you to be showing off on IG. They will always be something you are lacking or unhappy about.

GOD doesn't give you a perfect life. He gives you a life that needs to be centred around Him and through that, through all difficult times you wish you could change you find perfection in Him

Now I know most of yal will read this and KNOW that you know someone who's literally poppin when it comes to life yet you've never seen them bow a head or go on their knees, in fact you know they just use the hashtag blessed because it's cool & that's it #Legit.

Fact is there are so many people with some many opinions & thoughts about anything and everything that I think firstly we need to just need to have respect for another in general. Respect lacks among us in today’s generation and I think even if you don’t agree with it, it is important to respect someone’s presence and with that someone’s opinion.  

I also just think we need to understand that your destiny is not the same as your friends. YES destiny, your future, road, pathway, you goals all of that, I’m talking about that. I think because we are mostly visual people we think that everything should be picture perfect and flited to perfection BUT you gotta realize that eish doesn’t always go that way. YES sometimes you'll have to wait,  YES sometimes it's not going to go in your corner YES you are going exhausted in so many ways BUT YES you have a GOD so big he handles all that.

You see here's the thing, it's not easy, no one life is easy. They are people out there completely lost and seeking for something, it could be tangible or intangible point is, most people have that thing they are searching for & most people also think if they were someone else or even a 2.0 version of that person they'd find that missing link they've been searching for BUT wishing you we're someone else, with far less problems doesn't change the problems, it only makes you deal with even more problems.

Deuteronomy 7:19, "The great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders,  the mighty hand  and the outstretched arm, by which the LORD your GOD brought you out. So will the LORD your GOD do to all the people of whom you are afraid"

So I want to break this verse into two parts. Let's first talk about how God is your defender. Now it's very easy for anyone to say "The Lord will protect/guide/help ME" BUT unless you believe it unless you live it you'll always be longing for someone's life because of how it looks on the outside . The thing is your trails are your testimony. It evident that in situations, that bad medical result, that death of your mom, that rape or divorce you were able to overcome because of the mighty hand and the outstretched arm was GOD, He brought you out of that.

Now #NoLies sometimes the medical result doesn't get better, we don't get over inhumane things that should never happen to us, life just generally sucks & you wonder when your big break will come, when will GOD answer your prayers as He has others BUT it doesn't mean that just because your prayer requests have not been answered that we should sit and daydream about an easier life we wish we had, No we fight another day.

The second part of this verse, "So will the LORD your GOD do to all the people of whom you are afraid" let's talk about that part. Now in my own opinion I think what GOD is trying to say in this verse is He will defend all the people you wish would not like to be defended & go to heaven, you know what I'm talking about. 

The girl that always seems to find a man, that guy that’s just perfect BUT has a rotten attitude, the girl that always seems to find wrong with the way you express yourself or what you say, the guy that is a perfectionist & it annoys you because he pretends to be nice to everyone, the lady at work who stays ready to report your every wrong doing or transgressions.  I could go on BUT then my language wouldn't be very pleasant #LoL BUT you get my point, they are always people who just always want to TRY YOU, testing your patience & asking GOD to forgive you for that evil thought you are having about them #Stop

It doesn't tell you when  the pain will stop from the loss you have experienced, it doesn't tell you when the promotion will come, it doesn't tell you when life will stop slamming doors in your face BUT as long as you're in the relationship & you see the great trails with your GOD there is a guarantee that you will come out of it, you will see the sunshine & feel it's warmth on your face.

So stop being envious about someone else life. YES they will be people doing better than you and YES they will be people worse off than you BUT God has them in His sight and as long as you have your eyes fixed on Him, you will grow in your faith and love for Him which will show on the outside whether or not someone is envious of you at all.
