"MUFASA!!!"
The wail came from the living room as Charles was taking care of business in the bathroom. He glanced up at his reflection in the mirror; smirking slightly as he could picture the face Whitney was making at the moment. One of utter horror. Even thought they watched this movie thirty times already.
She had been feeling down and Charles was cheering her up.
He headed back into the living room. Whitney was sitting there, knees pulled up to her chest as she absentmindedly picked at a scar on her leg. The curly blonde wig she usually wore was on the floor, forgotten as he glared at the television.
"Scar, you beautifully haired bastard. You can't just do this shit to people...Lions. This is why your parents named you Trash!"

//He is tho! He is wholesome and predictable and his story is utterly formulaic. I don’t dislike him, I just don’t care. And the whole love interest things with Alison then Kira I just could not get invested in.
Nah. nahhh. maybe season 1 I could agree but looking back I just feel bad for the kid. He's grown so much though and that's why I love his character. I don't think he's all that wholesome really, but just has good morals. better than stiles obviously who would rather leave people for dead lol. but I love Stiles too. (him aside from Allison is who I relate too most really).
but hey that's your opinion and i ain't tryin to change it. but fandom normally has a very negative and wrong interpretation of scott and it's ridic

Tony: When did you get back??
Tony: I can't believe I missed you!
Christmas Party Chatzy
Tagging: Natasha Romanoff, Loki Laufeyson, Tony Stark, Matt Murdock, Bobbi Morse, Carol Danvers, Alexei Shostakov
Location: Natasha's apartment.
Time & Date: Christmas night.
Natasha pursed her lips, taking full advantage of the leftover bottles of wine in the tiny apartment. Spirits sure were high this holiday season. Pretty soon she would have to start thinking of New Year's Resolutions. Hmmm....
Loki flounced into the flat, still buzzed and full of energy from a day of drinking, baking, and determinedly not thinking about how his Christmases here always seemed to pale in comparison to the ones spent back home, when he'd thought he had a family. It was hard to be too dismayed with Bobbi and her baking skills involved.
Bobbi followed close behind Loki, her cookies in a makeshift package and herself slightly unsteady on her feet. Of the two of them she had managed to polish off a good portion of the Christmas Liquor and and it had started to subside only on the way here. "Hi Tasha! Thanks for having us. This place is cute. Where should I put this? Loki can you grab my coat?" if she kept her brain going and her mouth running, it was almost possible to stop thinking about what the new years was going to bring.
Matt knocks on the door tentatively. He's not sure how this party is gonna go, but he really wants to get into the holiday spirit. He's got a plate of cookies and some raspberry ginger ale.
Natasha couldn't help but smirk. "Here, let me take it." She said gently, taking the plate of cookies from Bobbi's hands. "Sit down, can I get you something to drink? Come on in!" She shouted at the front door, uncovering the cookies and putting them on the bar with the rest of the food and drink.
Tony was exhausted after taking a four hour exam, his head still swimming with numbers and mathematic symbols. He had flown home and napped the entire way, still feeling dead on his feet even as he entered Natasha's apartment, wiping the condensation from the cold off his glasses lenses. "I made it back, it's a Christmas miracle!" he called sarcastically.
Natasha smiled. "Well what do you know, the boy genius graces us with his presence. Merry Christmas Tony." Natasha greeted, pulling him in for a quick him. "Come on in Matt, here...let me take that from you." She offered, taking the plate and bottle from his hands and placing them on the bar as well.
Matt hands her the food and smiles. "Merry Christmas, Natasha, everyone else I can't see."
Loki had hung up his and Bobbi's coats in the front closet and was most of the way down the hall to the living room where people were gathering when he heard an unexpected voice from the door. He glanced over his shoulder, a shadow of a grin settling onto his lips. Natasha greeted Tony first, and Loki stepped away into the living room. "What, no guessing game?" he said, ribbing Matt.
Matt chuckles. "Not without hearing people. Yours is a voice I'd know anywhere." He raises his eyebrows at him.
Tony hugged Natasha, greeting her with a kiss on the cheek. "Merry Christmas, beautiful. I come bearing gifts!" He pulled out the box he was carrying behind his back, setting it down. He met Loki's eyes from across the room, doing a short double take before a grin spread across his face.
Natasha shut the door, wrapping her arms around herself as she looked down at the box, all of a sudden very curious and very guilty. She hadn't gotten anything for anyone. "Yeah, mine are in the mail. I'll get them to you later." She lied smoothly, making a mental note to do some online shopping especially now that she had some steady money coming in.
Loki picked up a cookie and nibbled at it idly as he poured himself a glass of wine. "Still going on about my voice, Murdock? People might think you have a fixation."
Tony laughed and shook his head. "Don't worry about it, Nat. Your present to me tonight can be booze. Celebratory booze because I passed all my classes this semester," he grinned at her before inspecting some of the alcohol. He picked himself out a bottle of jack before going over to Loki, smoothly wrapping an arm around his waist. "I made it after all."
Bobbi rolled her eyes at Loki and stood up, with her host distracted and everyone doing their thing, she poured herself a smaller drink, and bumped her hip into Loki's as she walked passed, putting a hand on Matt's shoulder to say hello, "Yo, I'm going to have a look around the apartment. Yell if anything interesting happens."
Natasha laughed at Bobbi's comment. "There's really not much else to see. Promise. I'm no Martha Seward, or whatever the hell her name is." She shrugged.
Matt laughs heartily at that. "You're not the only person I can recognise. I hear Tony," he raises his cane in his direction, "and Bobbi now, too." He puts his hand on Bobbi's. "Nice to see you here. Don't get lost." He moves off, helping himself to some soda and a cookie.
Alexei could already hear people inside of the apartment, but he steeled his nerves and entered anyway. It looked like the usual crowd of students, and he felt a bit of relief seeing that Bobbi was there as well. "Hi, Natasha," he greeted evenly, holding out a bottle of what he knew was her favorite vodka brand with a bow on it.
Bobbi laughed and squeezed Matt's hand for a moment, "Mine is the most mellifluous, right Matt?" She took a small sip of her drink and grinned at Natasha, "I've never seen you in your natural habitat, Tash, I want to see if you bath in the blood of your enemies, or Dove body wash, like the rest of us."
Loki lifted the glass of wine to his lips to hide his grin. "So I see," he replied, leaning slightly into the arm around his waist. "Yell if you find anything scandalous," he called to Bobbi's retreating form, a little louder than intended from the effects of their earlier boozing, glancing at Natasha and then ducking his head with a sheepish smirk.
Natasha snorted. "Blood of my enemies of course. It's what gives my skin it's pristine glow." She insisted, turning to see that Alexei had joined the party. She smiled, glad that he had come. "Merry Christmas." Natasha said softly, taking the vodka from his hands. "Thank you. Er, I actually have something for you as well." She admitted. It was something the had picked out a long time ago, before they had broken up.
Bobbi glanced back at the sound of Loki's yell and saw Alexei there, she came back and gave him a hug around the waist. "Hiya stranger. You want to come exploring with me? Loki's being gross with Tony and Natasha has promised me blood." She made a face at Loki so he's see she was joking, and smiled up at Natasha. Last she knew, the two were okay, and trying to be friends.
Alexei pressed his lips into a tight smile. "Oh?" His eyebrows flicked upward, curious. He gave a little jolt of surprise when Bobbi hugged him, but turned to smile at her. "Yeah, sure."
Matt only vaguely recognises the newcomer, but apparently there's some drama that's happened that he doesn't know about. Which doesn't surprise him. He doesn't know half of what goes on around his classmates et al. He turns toward Natasha once Bobbi and the other guy head off. "How has your holiday been?"
Tony stuck his tongue out at Bobbi, hooking his chin over Loki's shoulder. "We could be a lot grosser, FYI!" he laughed and took a drink from the bottle. "I haven't been to your new place yet, Nat. It's real nice." He looked around appreciatively.
Natasha was silent for a moment, watching as Alexei and Bobbi went off to check the rest of her apartment. It was OK, she would give it to him later. She tried not to feel as horrible as she did, watching them run off together, so she turned her attention back to the other party attendees. "Holidays...fine, I guess. I'm not really one to celebrate all that much, so I thought why not this year right?" She chuckled, pouring herself a drink. "It's an alright place, I've definitely had worse." Natasha remembered, wincing at the thought of her old apartment. "I had a little more money this time around, so I sprung for a nicer place."
Loki gave Tony a sideways look, sipping delicately from his glass in contrast to Tony's technique. "Barbarian," he muttered.
Bobbi knew the apartment was small and their tour should take all of two seconds. Which was lucky because the moment Alexei had agreed, things had felt slightly weird. She peeked into the washroom, and found no blood, and she didn't touch the bedroom door at all. Boundaries had never been her strong suit but that probably was too far. She glanced back at Alexei, "You going to tell me what happened between you guys? Because the amount of weird vibes I just got are enough that my drunk self could feel them."
Tony glared at Loki, rolling his eyes. "Princess," he responded before plopping down on the couch, poking at Loki's thigh with his foot. "So I passed."
Alexei had a feeling Bobbi was going to corner him about the exchange. He shrugged, arms crossing loosely. "I ran into her the other night is all. We talked a little. Argued more. I helped her out and that was that. Now I need to get drunk as quickly as possible. You gonna help me accomplish that?"
Natasha couldn't help but look to the back room. She really did want to talk to him. They never got to finish their conversation from the previous night. "Excuse me, for a minute." She murmured, making her way to the back. Standing a little off to the side of Alexei and Bobbi, she waited for a lull in their conversation. "Actually, before you do that can we talk for a minute?"
Alexei looked back and forth between them for a second before giving Natasha a nod. He turned back to Bobbi, his hand brushing lightly over the back of yours. "I'll be back out there in just a minute," he said with an apologetic smile.
Carol knocks on Tasha's door only for the it to open at her touch. She wasn't sure if that meant the door hadn't been locked or if she had underestimated her own strength. The latter had been happening more and more lately. "Sorry I'm late," she says, just loud enough for anyone near her to hear but quiet enough so that most wouldn't.
Matt nods at Natasha and then stands off in the corner when it's clear she's got other things going on. He stands there kinda awkwardly, not wanting to interrupt Loki and Tony. Then he hears Carol. He turns to her and smiles. "Hey you. Merry Christmas."
Carol smiles at Matt and leans in for a hug, "Merry Christmas. You've got a set of ears on you, huh?"
Loki took another sip of wine, grinning wry and wide. "Of course you did," he purred, settling a bit unsteadily into Tony's lap. "Is this gross? I really can't tell anymore. You've thoroughly corrupted my judgement."
Natasha pressed her lips together motioning over to her bedroom so they could have some privacy. Shutting the door behind them, Natasha turned to face him, her arms crossed over her chest. "We never really got to finish our talk the other day. I was wondering if you had thought about what I had said." She started, rubbing the back of her neck. Everything she had said, she'd meant. She was finished with a life of solitude. For heavens sake, she was at her own Christmas party, something that never thought would happen in a million years. She didn't want to be alone on Christmas.
Matt happily hugs Carol. "They're almost as good as my eyes." He chuckles. "Seriously though, if I hadn't heard you, I'd've had to question the A I got in my sensory training class.
Tony let out a grunt when Loki plopped onto his lap, but just smirked back. When he heard someone else enter, he popped up and looked around Loki. "Carol! You made it!" he grinned and waved his bottle at her.
Alexei let out a long sigh once they were alone, scratching the back of his head. "I have... and... I just don't know, Nat. I meant it when I said I wanted to try and be just friends, but if you can't handle that then I don't want to force my presence on you. This is your new life and these are your new friends. If I'm not welcome just say so."
Carol snorts at Matt, "They're obviously much better." Carol waves at Tony and saunters forward, plucking the bottle from his hand and taking a gulp. She smacks her lips, "Well, I didn't have anything better to do. I have so little of a life I actually have to hang out with you losers." Se smirks and takes another sip of Tony's drink befre looking back at Matt, "So, I'm guessing you're designated driver?"
Loki leaned back and threw his free hand high in greeting, nearly spilling his wine in the process. "Carol! Happy Drunkmas!"
Tony let out a sound of protest. "Don't nick my drink!" He grabbed it back from her, cradling it like he would a child. He glanced back at Loki, jabbing him in the ribs. "You know something's wrong when you're more drunk than I am. Although I did have a mimosa on the plane."
Carol rolled her eyes at the boyfriends, "Drunken idiots, the both of you. Practice some self control."
Matt 's smile is more genuine when Carol jokes back at him. "Absolutely. I'll be the soberest person I know by the end of the night. Perfect for driving." He can hear her reaction to Loki & Tony. "I don't think they know those words."
Tony blinked at her. "Self control? What's that?"
Natasha: Friends. Well...that was better than nothing. Natasha nodded, biting her lower lip. "No...stay, please. I can be friends. Like I said, I just don't want to be alone anymore." She replied, moving towards her chest of drawers. She opened the top compartment, taking a small wrapped packed from inside. She held it out to Alexei. "Merry Christmas." Natasha said, the ghost of a smile on her lips. Inside was a small picture frame with a picture of Red Square, their first home. "I know you're on this journey to find yourself, but I just think it's important that you remember where you came from too. Because I really liked that pickpocket in Red Square." She laughed, smiling genuinely this time. "Alexei, I really mean it though. Everything I said last night. I'm not...waiting for you or anything, but I really doubt that I will ever feel the way I feel about you towards anyone else." Natasha shrugged. "If you ever want to...get back together, there's a good chance that I'm gonna be ready as well."
Bobbi has been about to reply to Alexei when Natasha came over, she smiled at the both of them and backed off, hiving Alexei a wink, "Drinks later?" She bumped her hip into Natasha's, "You too, hotshot. I'll be outside." She went back to the rest of the party and reached over to snag Tony's drink, draping an arm over Carol's shoulder with a laugh. "I got third wheeled by two couples already. I need this more than you guys do." She tossed back a large gulp of the bottle, then handed it back.
Loki yelped and gave a half-hearted scowl at being poked. "I've had more time to get started. And I'm more of a lightweight. Aaaand, well, you could say I don't do holidays well."
Carol leaned back on a coffee table or something along those lines, Carol wasn't exactly paying attention. Se double takes at Matt. she'd genuinely forgotten about his eyes when she'd made that joke. How strange. "Well, unless I luck out and get hammered I'll be helping with the driving." Carol giggled and wrapped an arm around Bobbi's waist, "You, Matt, and I can third wheel everyone else now. Singles unite."
Tony whined again, groping at the empty air until his bottle was handled back. "Moochers, all of you." he grumbled before gulping down a generous amount, shaking his head a little afterwards. "I haven't had a drink in like, weeks, okay? This is my stress relief now." He nuzzled back against Loki's side, nursing the bottle. "You're not the only one with crappy Christmas memories."
Carol holds out a hand, "Okay, no. If we're about to talk about our horrible Christmas pasts I'm leaving."
Alexei "You didn't have to get me anything." He sighed but accepted it, tearing away the paper. He swallowed, fingers tracing over the picture. "Thanks. I love it." He pulled her forward into a hug, resting his chin on the top of her head. They stood close for a moment before he pulled away. "Let's just go get drunk, alright? Or at least get on our way to a pleasant buzz while the rest of these Americans get all sloppy on us." He flashed a wry grin before re entering the main room with her by his side.
Matt puts his arm around Carol's shoulders. "I'm with Carol on this one."
Loki flashed Bobbi a too-wide grin. "But what if you're the front-and-center wheel of a three-wheeled dirigible? That's important, that." He slid off Tony's lap to sit cross-legged beside him on the couch. "I didn't say anything about memories!"
Carol smiles and puts her other arm around Matt's waist, sicking her chin proudly in the air, "I feel like a pimp."
Natasha wrapped her arms around him, burying her face into his chest. Who knew when she would be like this with him again? She was taking full advantage of the hug, but stepped away when he did. Friends. She could do this. They'd be friends for a long time before they'd been anything serious. "It is pretty entertaining to watch them make fools of themselves." Natasha admitted, following him out of the room. "OK, come on everyone. Shots." She announced, disappearing under the bar and taking out a generous number of shot glasses.
Tony hummed in agreement, holding up his hands. "Alright, alright, on a happier note, I brought presents because I'm obviously mother fucking Kris Kringle." Loki slid off his lap then, giving him the opportunity to go get the box he left by the kitchen counter and bring it back. "And none for Loki Laufeyson, bye-- I'm kidding, babe, your presents are at my apartment."
Bobbi rolled her eyes and reached for the bottle again, "We could do funny Christmas memories instead? Like the most awkward ones, or the weirdest. Even if you don't have great family ones, there should be some silly ones. No?" She took another large drink of the bottle, and slid away to sit at Loki's feet, leaning her head on his thigh, "Whatever you say, Love. I'm pretty sure that wheel is suppose to provide the stability. Have you /met/ me?"
Carol smiles, perking up at 'shots', "I hope by shots she meant body shots and beer cause I've got a hankering for the two." She watches Nat, taking note of Tony's comment about gifts. "I would
Carol **'ve had all of your presents if this wasn't so last minute for me..."
Natasha raised her eyebrows, pouring everyone a round of shots. "I'll believe it when I see it Tony."
Loki stuck his tongue out at Tony. "Does that mean my presents are inappropriate for public revelation? Should I be nervous?" He sat up straighter at the mention of shots, finishing his wine in a long draught and setting the glass aside.
Bobbi got up to help Natasha distribute the alcohol, "What are we drinking here?"
Natasha took a quick look at the bottle, trying to decide between the brandy and the whiskey. "Hmmm...I was thinking jungle juice?" She proposed, raising an eyebrow. "I've got brandy, whiskey, gin, vodka..." She listed off.
Carol walks over to Tasha, holding out her hand, "Gin! Please."
Tony scoffs, opening up the box. "I can be a philanthropist okay?" He got up then, pawing through the box and handing out the gifts. "Alright, Santa Stark time... Matt, yours was last second and a gag gift, sorta, so here's a copy of Fifty Shades of Grey in braille... Natasha, I designed this gun especially for you. None other like it. I'll give you more details later and probably shouldn't be handing this to you if you plan on getting drunk... that being said, I'll do it anyway. Bobbi, you wanted alcohol, so here's a lovely little arrangement in a basket, aww how sweet. Carol, I made you a charm bracelet, but the charms snap off. The gold are flash bombs, the silver are smoke. Do with that what you will. And Alexei, I heard you complaining about needing a new set of knives, so I got you a brand new set. Same sort of discretion I gave to Tasha though." He flopped back onto the couch. "And that's all the generosity I can take for one night. Did I hear body shots? Because I totally volunteer as tribute."
Tony pat Loki's leg, smiling at him. "Surprisingly enough, no. One of them I couldn't physically bring, and the other I just decided not to because I know how squeamish you get when anything sentimental is presented to you. You'll get it tonight, don't worry."
Loki rolled his eyes dramatically. "It always comes back to sentiment with you."
Carol grins at Tony, clasping the bracelet on. "Pretty and practical," she blows a kiss at Tony, "I knew you'd think of something great." Carol laughs, "I'd take you on as tribute if I didn't feel weird licking my adorable little sophomore's stomach. However I am starting to care less and less..."
Natasha inspected the gun with her trained eye, appreciating it's magnificent craftsmanship. "Nice job Tony, I'm surprised you know this much about guns." She admitted, making sure the safety was on before she aimed it at the back wall, away from the main group. Light, easy to handle. She could see herself using it. She put it on the back table, giving Tony an appreciative nod as she passed Carol a shot of gin. "And since Santa Stark has generously agreed to be our first test subject...who will be our first drinker?"
Bobbi rolled her eyes, and extended the gift basket to everyone. She stuck her tongue out at Tony, "You cheated, Stark. You weren't suppose to spend a lot of money."
Matt raises a skeptical eyebrow at Tony. "Who gets a book in braille 'last-minute'?" He tries not to sound too sarcastic because it's a genuine question. He's just a little weirded out by the book. He doesn't really get the point of gag gifts, but he doesn't want to be a jerk about it.
Tony made an affronted noise, glaring at Natasha. "Of course I know about guns, I'm going to be running a weapons manufacturing company soon. He rolled his eyes at Carol. "For the record, I'm not some adorable little sophomore anymore-- And please, Bobbi, it wasn't that much. I know a guy, Matt, now enjoy your crappy book porn."
Alexei hummed, opening the case to look at the knives. They were admittedly really nice. "Thanks, Stark," he said grudgingly, pushing the box aside before settling himself next to Bobbi.
Carol purses her lips and thinks for a moment, eyes narrowing, "Fine then! I'll drink first."
Natasha smirked. "You're stalling Tony, unless you want to give up your position?" She suggested, wiggling the bottle in her hands.
Tony stood up from the couch, outstretching his arms. "Alright, where do you want me Romanoff?"
Natasha smacked the top of the bar, clearing off room so Tony could lay down.
Carol waited with a hand on her hip as he positioned himself, "You tell me when you're ready."
Tony stripped himself of his shirt, climbing up onto the bar and stretching out across it like a cat. "Try not to get too much alcohol on the reactor. I've made that mistake more than enough times," he tapped the edge of the metal disk before raising a brow at Carol. "Ready when you are."
Bobbi elbowed Alexei, grabbing one of the bottles of tequila from the gift basket and handing it to him. "You okay, cowboy? I'm not keen on sucking alcohol off a billionaire, personally. You and tasha have a good talk?"
Natasha started by sprinkling a line of salt on his abdomen, poured gin into his belly button and finished of by holding out a lime wedge for his mouth. "Ready Tony?" She asked softly, stealing a look at Loki. She was amazed how the two didn't get jealous, or at least of how well they kept it hidden.
Tony stole the lime from her hand, giving an affirmative hum. He followed her gaze and sent a wink Loki's way just for good measure.
Natasha stepped back, letting Carol do her thing. "Anyone just want a regular shot?" She asked, getting the tiny glasses ready.
Alexei bumped his hip lightly against hers, taking the bottle. "Thanks. I don't see why not. He's got plenty to go around apparently," he rolled his eyes and took a long drink from it. "Yeah, I guess," he wiped the edge of his mouth with his thumb. "Things are still a little... rocky, between us."
Carol hadn't actually seen Tony shirtless before. She didn't expect any brain to be ripped, but that didn't seem to matter. tony had a cute little bod but she could hardly think of it as any more than that. That didn't mean she couldn't have any fun. Carol stood between Tony's legs and grabbed him by the thighs, dragging him across the bar to be closer to her and therefore easier to drink from. Carol looked up at Tony, smiled and winked, and leaned down. She licked the line of salt first with the tip of her tongue, retracing the trail to his navel before practically inhaling the gin there. Carol smacked her lips and leaned down over Tony. Slowly she edged her face towards his and grabbed the lime from his mouth with her teeth. She straightened up and plucked the lime out of her mouth, "Kept the reactor clean, didn't I?"
Loki hung back, making a point of not watching too closely. Watching a bunch of people lick Tony wasn't really his idea of fun. He wandered to the bar and poured himself another glass of wine, swirling the dark liquid as though it was immensely more fascinating than what was going on across the room.
Tony was a little surprised by how determined Carol was, and he grinned around the slice in his mouth. He watched her, holding eye contact the entire time as he tilted his head back and offered it up to her. He laughed, inspecting it. "Yep. All good." He looked over at Loki, still grinning. "C'mon, sour patch! Don't be such a spoil sport, you can come play too, y'know!" He sat up, reaching to take a shot of his own, feeling a lot looser than he had when the party started.
Bobbi glanced over at the group, then at Natasha, and finally she looked over to Alexei and took the bottle back for another swig. "The kind of rocky that I'm probably not helping with, I'm guessing? I can back off if you guys need, you know. Say the word." She caught sight of Loki and threw the cap to the bottle at him, ensuring it would get drunk by the end of the night. "You okay over there? Tequila goes good with wine, you know?"
Carol pushes out her bottom lip in a mock pout, "Oh come on, it's all in good fun, Loki."
Alexei shook his head. "No, you don't need to worry about that. We agreed on trying to be friends for now. I don't want what's going on with Natasha to screw up what I have with you," He glanced down. "I'm not nearly drunk enough yet."
Natasha sank into the background, watching as people immersed themselves with body shots and conversation. She wasn't all too interested in doing body shots, not did she want to intrude into Bobbi and Alexei's conversation (or did she?). Instead, she focused on pouring shots, for anyone who wanted them. Natasha poured herself a tumblr of the vodka Alexei had brought, not nearly as drunk as she wanted to be.
Loki would have bristled if not for the warmth of alcohol coursing through his system. Instead, he casually flipped Tony the middle finger and continued not to watch. He caught the bottle cap thrown his way and looked at it, startled that he'd intercepted it. He looked up at Bobbi with a slightly horrified look. "Whoever told you that should be shot on sight. That is one bartending experiment I am absolutely not on board with."
Tony just laughed, happy with the alcohol in his sytem. He eventually found himself on the floor, not sure when he had left the counter. He downed shot after shot before meandering over to Loki, draping his arms over Loki's shoulders. "You're cute when you pout," he mumbled, tapping Loki's lower lip with his index finger.
Bobbi nodded, giving him a wry grin. She wasn't sure exactly where they stood, and whether what they had was a friendship, or if it was the kiss that had happened. She took another gulp of the tequila and passed the bottle back to Alexei. "Okay, you let me know, okay? I... I have an assignment coming up for SHIELD and I thought it might be easier if I backed off." She clapped delightedly when Loki caught the cap, "It's... Sangria. We need wine and triple sec and tequila and apples and oranges. It's festive!"
Natasha 's lips twitched to the side at Bobbi's request. "I've got cheap wine, some apples and....that's about it." She apologized, going to dig through her cabinets. "We can improvise?"
Alexei looked at Bobbi with raised eyebrows. "Is it a solo assignment already? They still refuse to let me do anything in the field. Apparently I 'don't work well with others' and I'm still 'untrustworthy and unpredictable'. Psshh. He accepted the tequila, letting the alcohol take some of the stress off his shoulders.
Loki ignored Tony, caught up in the discussion of Sangria. "Tequila in Sangria? That's against nature. Isn't it usually brandy? Stop trying to do science to the drinks; it will end in regret."
Bobbi shook her head, "Not solo, no. It so happens that I am a social butterfly and they kind of specifically trained me to be working with others. Kind of what makes me all medic-y. You should tell them you work well with me. They might let you come hang out with the cool kids." She giggled and glanced over at her 'gift basket' I have triple sec and what appears to be a very expensive vintage. Let's get some brandy in this, and add the apples." She wrinkled her nose at Loki, "I will science where I want to science, and if I want to drunk science the wine science I will."
Natasha looked through her stockpile. "I have this spiced wine." She offered, holding it above her head so everyone else could see the label. "That seems pretty seasonal."
Tony put his hands all over Loki's face. "Hey. Hey look at me. Le's go home. Hey. Loki. Loki, hey. Hey..." He continued to prod and press.
Alexei scoffed and rolled his eyes, giving her a fond shove. "I'll check in with Fury about it. Can you give out any details yet?" He looked over the selection of alcohol. If there was anything he was willing to give Stark credit for, it was his impeccable taste in drinks.
