Hongjoong has always feared developing feelings for his high school best friend, especially after a drunken last hurrah results in the two of them nearly hooking up. Things have been rough in the time since (not that he’d ever admit it), so when Seonghwa suggests they move in together he jumps at the opportunity with the silent hope that nothing will develop between them to ruin their friendship.

Seonghwa has thought of Hongjoong every day since they were separated. He tells himself that it’s just platonic affection for a good friend. Distance, does make the heart grow fonder, after all. But now that they’re back together, sharing an apartment, he begins to worry that maybe things will never be normal between them again. Maybe it’s better to just try and move on or, failing that, finally make his move.
