It's that time again... Time to journey on... The life of a traveler is at times glorified; and my life is no exception. Look at what I'm doing now! Look at where I am now! Look how beautiful it is here! Look how much fun I'm having! etc etc... That's what gets shared through conversations and that's what gets seen on social media. But what people rarely see, is the pain. In my case, it's the pain behind the goodbyes and the "see you again"s. The "will we see each other again?" hidden behind every parting. Knowing when I go off to a new journey or when someone I really connect with goes off on they're next journey that it always creeps up. Those goodbyes, those see you agains with no guarantee of whether I will see them again. Saying goodbye is something I've done over and over again since I was 3 years old. I've moved 29 times from country to country and within country. To this day, those moments cut me to my core every... single... time... Yes, social media has made it much easier to stay connected. Technology has made it easier to phone one another and airplanes and other modes travel have made it easier to visit one another. But the "farewells" and "see you again"s never get easier. . As hard as it is though, I'm also filled with gratitude for being able to spend the past month with these amazing people. In such a short amount of time, they became like family. Hasta la próxima, mi amigos! . . . . . #gramkilla #agameoftones #canonimages #newzealand #yourvisualgallery #fstoppers #thattravelblog #livetravelchannel #travelstoke #lonelyplanet #bbctravel #justgoshoot #theglobewanderer #passionpassport #theculturetrip #worlderlust #earth_deluxe #departedoutdoors #lessismoreoutdoors #worldcaptures #artofvisuals #followmefaraway #travellingthroughtheworld #newzealand #travellife #explorenewzealand #globalfamily (at Te Puke) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzbldxjl35w/?igshid=1p2bm3f23lh7s
