My sister just told me a story about how her and my brother were bunking together in cuba on the family trip and he showed up one night at 6 am soaking wet and covered in sand and she was like "wtf happened" and he said "dude we snuck onto another resort where i met a gay man named eduardo who took a liking to me. For the longest time i was too focussed on my appearance, what people saw when they looked at me, whether or not i looked decent enough to go outside. And this is me realizing how bullshit it all was So i figure now i'm just gonna live my life without worrying about my face and body from now on -end of rant-

You know what? Honestly i don’t think i really need a huge johnlock love confession. Yes, of course it would be lovely and brilliant if they did that, but i would be over the moon if it just ended with a shot of sherlock on a roof looking out at a view of London, similar to the scene in the empty hearse. Then we see his hand being grabbed by a gloved john watson’s hand (mary somehow out of the picture) and john’s like “so what next? Moriarty’s finally gone. What should we do now?” And sherlock is kinda like shocked but he recovers with a smile and says something along the lines of “solving crimes. Just the two of us against the rest of the world. But i have to warn you, could be dangerous.” And john just squeezes his hand tighter and replies “yet here i am.” And the series ends with a shot of them looking at the view of London, connected. No dramatic kiss. No huge love confession. Because as beautiful as those would be, just imagine how lovely it’d be to Just have them holding hands as a sign of being united. I would actually cry (as silly as it may sound) if they just left it with them holding hands to show that john doesn’t care what people insinuate. To imply that maybe they really do have feelings for each other. But most importantly, that they are together in every sense of the word. Maybe it’s just me though
