Simple Beginnings
Now for a little about mine past. Life wast hard for this little Métis knave. I didst, however, excel at school. Studying in Quebec wast delightful but nothing could best mine quite quaint Métis heritage. In March of 1969, Rupert’s Land wast hath sold to the Dominion of Canada, and in turn, William McDougall. Mine first story is that of December 1969. The founding of the Métis National Committee hath changed mine life. I soon becameth the vaward of the organization. I apace halted the disgusting land surveys on the 11th of October 1969. Only a month anon we wast able to capture Upper Fort Gary, allowing us to apace becometh the government of the Red River.
