AN OPTIMISTIC APPROACH WAS PROBABLY THE best way to go, here. When they last spoke about Greer joining a team, Steve had expressed his concerns about her getting back into the field. & that was because of her son. She understood that, now she was a mother, she had to be more careful. He was only five, he still needed her. But she was also one of their best fighters ; she’d been doing this for years, it’s not like she would ever charge head-first into a bad situation.
He should have known that.
