I don't remember what was on my 2020 bingo card, but "Destiel goes canon in Spanish and causes the fourth November Tumblr meltdown" definitely wasn't there.

Yesterday I made a post saying that we weren’t mad about the SPN finale purely because we didn’t get Destiel, because we are used to not getting our queer ships. And you know what?

Fuck that.

I’m tired of being used to it, and I refuse to continue being used to it. How many other shows do you think have been all in to make their queer ship cannon only to have their hard work mutilated in the cutting room. How many writers have been used as human shields for greedy corporations? Supernatural is a pretty big show that was being heavily scrutinized, and still we didn’t know for certain until the Latin American dub was released. 

They were silenced, but I will not be. If you put a gag in my mouth, I will stamp my feet until I break the Earth. If you bind my feet, I’ll clap my hands, and if you cuff those than I’ll rattle the chains until metal clanging is the only thing ringing in your ears.
