sam and dean were meant to die on the same day in each other's arms and that would be much easier to handle than the thought of sam living decades without dean

he burned his brother's body. and also a piece of his soul, a part of himself he'll never let go. sam's life ended with that fire

they were each other's weakness they were codependent forever they were everything they ever had they were each other's life they were soulmates how DARE they kill dean he NEVER wanted to die how DARE they just leave sam with all of this and pretend that's okay??? pretend that a part of sam didn't die forever with dean that night?? that sam could get over it??? it's not smth you can recover from or just move on. it's the wound that will never stop bleeding. it will always hurt no matter how many decades pass. writers had no right to do that. not after everything sam and dean had done for each other and everything that happened to them

oh no i'm crying so bad i cant speak and my eyes are burning out again so FUCK all this. fuck the finale. they deserved better. they always did

i'll never forget what they did to them. to sam and dean who suffered all their life and just wanted to be free

How I Think the SPN Finale Should Have Gone

Dean should have retired and open his own roadhouse and Sam should have like had the role he had with the Apocalypse world hunters but with like Claire and the young hunters and ended up with Eileen.

(Also Cas should have made a cameo in heaven (in Dean's roadhouse?), and Tessa should have become death. IDK how, but how full circle would it be, especially if she reaped him.)

I don't think the final season was as bad as people act it was (though there was too much filler and not enough plot), but the ending is closer to Chuck's plan, especially in erasing the found family stuff. Its tragic. Plus, Dean is literally wanting to stop hunting in s2.

I hate the trope of "passively suicidal character dies to save everyone/after saving everyone" or even just the trope of "suicidal character gets killed off after the show literally wrote them a happy ending" and because of that, I don't know that I'll ever watch the finale of Supernatural or the ending of S3 of the OC.

I don't get why and how people were surprised by the barn scene, at all. That was the most in-character thing they did. I can’t believe thousands of people watched entire 15 seasons with their eyes closed and ears plugged. Because what do you mean "the forehead touch was too much and was uncomfortable to watch"? Talking about Sam and Dean, famously the-most-normal-about-one-other-brothers-of-all-time.
