No because supernatural did a whole dance sequence (to a song by a gay man, mind you) as a metaphor for Dean wanting to settle down with someone by his side and then KILLED HIM. They had Castiel confess that all he ever wanted was to have a life with Dean and then KILLED HIM. And then they never let them MEET IN HEAVEN FOR FU-

the idea of dean getting himself killed, overcome with grief and the feeling of not wanting to be in a world cas isn't, so he makes it to heaven to relieve the memories he has of cas over and over again because he believes he can't have the real thing, only to discover that jack did renos and now dean can't even have that. he's surrounded by his loved ones, but the one person he wants the most he can't even see again.

Covid wasn’t the real reason we didn’t get a Dean and Cas reunion in Heaven. It was because CW couldn’t show Dean Winchester getting ass fucked over the hood of the Impala while sobbing his angel’s name

at first billie was squeezing dean’s heart to try and crush it but cas blocked her hold on dean. and then that’s when dean realized billie was going to crush his heart instead by killing cas in front of dean before she killed dean, too.

“she’s gonna get through that door and she’s gonna kill you and then she’s gonna kill me” dean says, hopelessly. and while it isn’t actually billie who kills cas, dean still has his heart crushed by watching cas die in front of him.

and so when he gets stabbed in the heart with the rebar, it feels like nothing. his heart has already been crushed.

I don't get why and how people were surprised by the barn scene, at all. That was the most in-character thing they did. I can’t believe thousands of people watched entire 15 seasons with their eyes closed and ears plugged. Because what do you mean "the forehead touch was too much and was uncomfortable to watch"? Talking about Sam and Dean, famously the-most-normal-about-one-other-brothers-of-all-time.
