It’s the way I held off reading this book for almost a year, because I just knew, it would change my life and I would never get that high of reading it for the first time again.
This book was everything to me 🥹
The banter and the competitive nature between Noelle and Theo was top tier, it was hilarious and it honestly showed me how comfortable they were with each other. I mean they were SO GOOD at bickering but no one could deny the lingering glances, THEO IM LOOKING AT YOU!! The tension was insane and I was screaming!!
The love story between Kat and Paul was so tender and beautiful. I loved that Noelle got learn more about her grandma while creating a bond with Paul who was honestly the sweetest 🥹
The whole road trip! The scenery was amazing that I found myself fully immersed just by the descriptions and it’s something I always look forward to in a book. I loved that it was also what Noelle and Theo needed to find themselves and learn take a leap of faith both in their careers and in each other.
I found so Noelle relatable, it makes me cry just thinking about it. We start the book with her trying to deal with her grief upon losing her grandma but she also feels a little lost herself. I truly felt for her when she explained that she did everything right in high school only to end up somewhat lost after college. And I just can’t help but think that I have felt the same way before and sometimes still do. It makes me panic when I feel like I don’t have everything figured out. She was just so me, but I LOVED her, her journey, and her development.
Theo, an arrogant sad boy. I found myself screaming at him to just open up because I know you’re miserable and Noelle wants to listen!! But it’s the way it’s single POV and yet I could feel and understand what Theo was going through. Theo finding his true happiness and his love for Noelle, warmed my heart.
My heart bursts for these fools and this story and I get emotional just thinking about it. I could talk about this book forever 🥹🫶🏼
