And it’s true. Her chosen home is quite the opposite of Hades’. Her home is familiarly victorian, nearly mortal–– even occupied by mortal youths ( as any good cult requires ) unlike the old souls who swim the styx.

No, every bit of her house is brimming with life. Roses and peonies nearly bursting from the foyer, activity making it’s subtle knocks and creaks on the rich floorboards upstairs, the gray dog tramping through the study with a bone in his mouth. It even has a heartbeat. Vague, bass heavy music that pumps through someone’s speakers on the second floor.

droplets of water glistened against tan skin, their shine the appearance of diamond skin, a rainbow to be seen in each drop if one were to look close enough. muscles clenched as zeus heaved himself onto shale, flicking blond hair out of his eyes as they scanned the horizon. many ships often drifted along the coastal shoreline, and zeus often found himself enjoying the sight. white sails billowing in the wind, massive vessels manned by dozens of men, carrying all kinds of treasures. he longed to see inside one, but knew the dangers. he could easily kill them just as fast as they could he-- but it was a risk he wasn’t about to take. the sun began to set, and he knew it was time to be home, before his siblings noticed him gone. hands pressed against the waterlogged rock, ready to launch himself back into the sea when a snapping caught his attention. zeus did not have to turn around to see the man who’d snuck up behind him, and his entire body tensed. tongue ran across sharp teeth, as zeus readied himself for an attack. but when none came, the merman turned his head just enough to see the man behind him.

“come any closer, and you’ll discover what it feels like to DROWN,” zeus said, voice silky smooth and deadly.

LOST AND BROKEN DOWN.

persephone could hardly believe it. or rather she could and she was not pleased.

it was even more frustrating that the evening had started well. she had finally given in to hades and accepted a date with him. and it was to her greatest pleasure. she had done everything to be sexy and beautiful for him, from her hair to her makeup to her dress. EVERYTHING had been thought out with her friends to turn his head and seeing the look on his face when he picked her up, well ━━let’s say it seemed to have worked. hades, as the charmer that he was, took her to some expensive place probably to make her feel special (which worked perfectly fine); the food and wine was DELICIOUS and persephone had more fun than she had had in a long time. all was well except that now the car had abandoned them in the middle of a small road, miles away from any habitation.

SLAMMING the door of the car as she stepped out of it, perse was pissed off. you would have thought that with all his money, and the preparation of the date, he would’ve made sure his car was fine but no. of course he hadn’t. wrapping herself in her coat not to freeze in her mini dress, she turned to hades and started to YELL.

‘ you IDIOT ! why didn’t you check your car?! ‘

taking out her phone before he could even answer, she quickly dialed the informations’ number then bringing the cellular to her ear while giving hades an angry look. but it rang empty. checking the screen, persephone’s face decomposed as she noticed ━━━
