READ THIS MF BOOK: Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco

I feel like part of my job on here is to spread the gospel that is Kingdom of the Wicked (hahaha gospel jokes about a book about hell princes)

So, let me set up this wonderful series for you:

Our MC, Emilia, is a witch who loves to cook. She's based in Sicily. She's horny for a priest named Antonio, but like, he's a priest so she reads romance novels instead.

Her twin sister Vittoria is very interested in dark magic and she seems to be hiding a secret (maybe a boyfriend?). Vittoria makes great drinks and potions.

Emilia and Vittoria wear matching necklaces that have magic in them. Their grandmother is superstitious as hell. There are some magical forces at play that Emilia doesn't fully understand.

Something terrible happens, so Emilia decides to use dark magic to summon a demon to help her resolve things

Plot twist: the demon is an incredibly sexy and shirtless Prince of Hell who does not want to be confined to a summoning circle. Chaos ensues.

There are amazing Italian food descriptions. There is sexual tension. There is a prophecy and magical visions. There is the embodiment of several deadly sins. There are some hell monsters. There are some magical tattoos. There is fashion.

The first book is mostly YA, but the second book is written for the New Adult Genre and the teasers are STEAMY.

Bottom line: READ THIS MF BOOK!

READ THIS MF BOOK: Radiance by Grace Draven

I do not know how to make cool edits and graphics and fan art to convince you to read this book, but I am going to try and promote the hell out of this wonderful story through words.

Our story begins with the protagonists meeting in a garden, a few hours before their wedding. They have never met before, and their marriage was arranged as a part of a treaty between their peoples. They tell each other they are super ugly. Our girl Ildiko is human. Our boy Brishen is Kai. He has gray skin, yellow eyes, and sharp teeth and claws. A veritable monster with a heart of gold. She calls him an eel. He calls her a mollusk. It's all very cute.

The story follows Ildiko and Brishen's early days of marriage, as they grow accustomed to each other, learn about their respective cultures, and learn what is more important than looks: the person beneath the skin.

This book does not smack you in the face with plot twists or tear your heart out with betrayals or miscommunication. It is a sweet slow burn about two people who learn how to lean on each other after being somewhat isolated before they were forced to be together.

It is unbelievably heartfelt with great jokes, some sexual tension, and a very satisfying ending.

Bottom Line? READ THIS MF BOOK!!

you ever get such an intense book hangover that in the days after finishing the book, you've basically written the next book, complete with tidbits like the characters favorite colors, and all of the fluffy life stuff that didn't fit into the book
