Balthazar had been sick of watching every single one of his brethren find their bonded. It was annoying. Their twitterpated actions swirling about as they made their routes from earth or other parts of heaven. Each one was another angel or a human or fae. But it got Balthazar wondering, did he himself have a bonded? Or had God forgotten him? Deciding he wanted to know Balthazar set out for Earth. There was no point in staying in heaven right? If it was another angel he would of known. So it had to be either human or fae. It wasn't going to be easy. There were easily six billion people and it would take some time to go through them all. But he started. Going from one country to the next. But he felt nothing. Not until he found a college. The place didn't look special. Just like every other one in the country. Full of young adults who were killing themselves for a supposed better future. But he felt some kind of pull. And he knew they were here somewhere. It was late afternoon when he first spotted her. He was invisible, hiding himself to unwanted eyes as he had searched. She was just across the courtyard. And she was beautiful. He waited silently for a name and followed quietly behind her.
((Uh, I think we have a problem. I'd like to report a missing muse. He's about five foot eight, short dark hair, brown eyes. Great dress sense, answers to "King of Hell", "Crowley" and "you prick".
If anyone has seen this muse, do not approach. Instead, stand well back and throw things until he gets the idea and gets his expensively attired arse back home.
Ahem. Thank you for your attention.))
"You’re not the person I thought you were." Bo said softly, her eyes taking in the sight of Lucifer's vessel sans Lucifer. At first seeing him so randomly had terrified her, she'd been pretty sure her father/creator/mate whoever Lucifer was supposed to be to her had come to get her. Relief was in her eyes as she gave a small sigh, and an even smaller smile. "Sorry... I'm.. Bo by the way" //HI!
//Hello there, lovely one.//
I’m never the person people think I am. He thought to himself. Nick had no idea who this girl was. He was surprised when she started talking to him. All he knew was that she was… something else. Something in her energy said she wasn’t human. Which meant she knew about his little thing with Lucifer. “I’m…” he trailed off. He was very weary of her. She could easily be out to kill him. Wouldn’t be the first time. Should he even trust her enough to say his name?
He wasn’t sure, but he’d give her the benefit of the doubt. Just this once. At least until he knew he could trust her. “I’m Nick.”
