ok, please disregard the super awkward eye selfie, and check out how great my lashes look in the after photo, because of the new YSL volume effect faux cils mascara. 

i have very blonde, short eyelashes, and take my mascara game pretty seriously. this stuff blew me away. it goes on smooth, separates, lifts, gives volume, and it smells wonderful. i’ve really enjoyed using this product for the last couple of weeks, and think i can justify shelling out $32 of my dollars to continue using it once this tube runs out. 

this was my first experience with YSL beauty products, and i completely understand why people are obsessed.

Trying this new MASCARA VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS by Yves Saint Laurent. It’s a really nice formula, not runny at all but not too thick where it weighs down your lashes. It’s definitely a volumizing formula, but it does an ok job lengthening if you layer it enough. It’s pretty nice for both everyday and for a more dramatic look, it all depends on how many coats you apply. The packaging is really nice and classic, I mean it IS YSL, so it’s going to be a great piece to display on my vanity. I received this for free from Influenster for product testing, but all the opinions are my own.
