1) Okay, I have a general heads up about dancing on the blades (you set my heart on fire) and my Helpless series.
I’ve been rereading them lately and they just don’t reflect where I am now as a writer. Over the next couple of months, I will be going through and editing already posted parts for general grammar and to fix some inconsistencies in the stories. This won’t affect Helpless nearly as much as dancing on the blades (you set my heart on fire) which might have a decent chunk rewritten.
I’m hoping by doing this, this will:
a) make it a better reading experience for newcomers or (not to sound arrogant) for people who reread these stories and
b) jumpstart my desire to write in these series again. I’ve been struggling to write in both of these stories lately due to IRL pressures, writing my OSPBB, and just general anxiety about what I have already currently posted.
2) I’ll also be dropping a survey later this week about what I can do better as a writer (from, you know, the writing to communication) in order to help me focus on what I should be worried about instead of just being generally anxious about ALL aspects of my writing. I would love as many responses as possible so I can improve (especially after my enemies story did a huge flop).
3) I do have a new story dropping soon that should update monthly that I’m pretty excited about. It’s long over due for me to post it and I’m excited to keep working on it since it’s something I’ve wanted to work on.
4) I might be posting a few one shots in December but I’m also not going to promise/force myself to if they do not come. Apologies if it does not happen but I’m going to try.
Um, that’s about it. Sorry if this sounds deranged or slightly feral but that’s about where I’m at now a days. 😂 please feel free to hit up my ask box with clarification questions or general hellos! I promise I’m going to be more active than I have been.
