(YSW!reader = Young Second wife!Reader)
Slightly NSFW
- After his wife died. Maekar declared that he will never remarry.
- his father the king decided a year later that his son would remarry. His reasoning being that his son’s children need a mother.
-His father choses the women. A child is what Maekar thinks at first. A women of just 20 only 6 years older then his oldest son.
-when she arrives at the Red keep. Maeker gets his first look at her. Plain is what he thinks average not a great beauty but not to bad to look at.
- she greets him with a curtsy. Keeping her head down. Avoiding his eyes. Submissive he think easy to control.
-The wedding is quick and brief no need to make a big deal out of a second marriage. Maekar sets the cloak on her shoulder and places a brief quick kiss to her lips.
-The feast after the wedding is quite large. Larger than anything she ever seen. Maekar finds amusement in the wonder in her eyes.
-later in the night Maekar sees the fear in her eyes when the lords start mentioning the bedding ceremony.
- Maekar speaks his first word of the night since reciting his vows causing his young wife to flinch. “No” spoken loud and clear leaving no room for argument. There will be no bedding ceremony.
-Maekar leads her form the feast holding her hand taking secret delight form the small trembles coming from her. Her fear of the unknown shining bright in her eyes.
-In her chambers Maekar goes to pour himself a cup of wine. He speaks to her directly for the first time that day. “Undress and lay down on the bed” his tone soft but demanding simpler to his tone at the feast.
-Maekar does his duty. He makes it quick for his new wife but is a gentle as he can be.
-Maekar wipes her tears from her face before starting to redress himself. He can’t keep his eyes of her parted thighs. He can see small spots of blood on her thighs his seed dripping making a mess of the bed.
-Maekar calls for the maids to bathe her right before he departs the chamber. He knows they will spy her parted thighs and report back to his father that the marriage had been consummated. The keep will whisper about if a new babe will be gracing the halls of Summer hall in the moons to come.
- she surprised to see Maekar the next morning. When he appears in her chambers. He orders the maids to bring food for them to break their fast together. Maekar pours her some tea. Tells her he has a maester brew it to help with the soreness.
-Maekar does not wish to be here. He eats silently as he watches her eat and drink. He will stay and make sure she drinks every last drop of her moon tea.
-After that morning she does not see her husband again till it is time to leave for summer hall. The road to her new home seems to drag on and on.
-when they arrive to summer hall Maekar has her placed in a chamber on the opposite side of the castle away from his and his children’s chambers. She will spend several moons with her lord husband ignoring her and only speaking with her when necessary.
