Do you really think DC is going to change Damian's story? We are talking about Batman, the most sold character in DC (for years Batman is the most famous superhero in the world). Also, after more than 10 years of Damian's existence, several animated movies such as Son of Batman and comics like Super Sons and others, are going to change Damian's father? Not to mention that the boy is a clone of his father in all aspects. From what I've read, it's more of a "strategy" to sell the Deathstroke comic

Ok so now that the whole Slade and Terra thing is canon, can we all agree his slight obsession with Damian is creepy as hell?
I don’t know what kind of relationship Slade has with Terra right now as I dropped Deathstroke a few issues before Defiance and haven’t yet got back to it again, but as far as I know the idea of them is always creepy anyway.
“Slight obsession with Damian” though, I don’t really see a few of the interactions between Damian and Slade in the comics (not in the animated versions, of course) I have read that way. In fact as I see it, Slade could not care less about Damian in all of those interactions and more focused on the other things he had to do at the moment (assassinating Maya, distracting Batman and Rose to get to quietly get to Rose’s (ex)boyfriend, and going into the Speed Force to come back to the past and save Grant). Perhaps I miss some issues in which their interaction borderline that way? If I do, please enlighten me.
That’s why in the upcoming Deathstroke arc, I see it Slade simply wants to mess with Batman, for reasons we have yet to know, although it’s really silly and kind of out of character of him to do that. He does not seem like the type to play prank. However, it’s also not yet confirmed that Slade was the one who did the (fake) test and gave it to Batman. Someone else might want to mess with them and have the two against each other. Or whatever it is, I am honestly intrigued to know how it is going to play out.
This arc is genuinely about Deathstroke and Batman after all, not about Damian (or anyone else for that matter, sorry can’t help adding that).
Plus, in the end Damian’s biological father will always be Bruce. I don’t think DC has the balls to retcon it at this point, especially not with how much Damian is always being commercialized as Batman’s Son in any medias (comics, animated movies, games) and there is the “Super Sons” as well.
However, I do admit Slade is “obsessed” with the Robin persona going by his history. It was Dick’s Robin though not Damian’s.

I don't think Damian would leave him with Talia. He went through the trouble of smuggling him away after all.
true but then he should also be there with Maya and Goliath in #10 but I sadly don’t see him at all in the sneak peek art (unless #10 happens before Suren’s arc which I think is unlikely).
...or probably he goes on his own adventure off-screen :)
