YWAM Together 2018
During the first week of September 2018, I was a part of a global YWAM Conference called YWAM Together, which took place in Pattaya! Just under 4,000 people came together from over 100 countries - the largest attendance we’ve had at a YWAM gathering ever! Our YWAM family came together to be refreshed, renewed, challenged, encouraged, loved, empowered and supported. The Lord showed up and moved powerfully among us throughout the seven-day conference!
When I registered for the conference, I decided to also register as a volunteer. However, what I thought would be a small “I’ll help where I’m needed” part, turned into me playing a pretty big role throughout the week. It was unexpected, a little stressful, but so encouraging and rewarding!
I ended up being a part of the Media/Production Team - running slides! I got to work alongside other experienced YWAM brothers and sisters who flew in from all over the world - old friends and new friends. Production meetings started at 6:30 a.m. every morning and I worked late into the night to prepare each days materials. Although I was physically exhausted and tired, I was so full of joy, energy and excitement. It was such an honor to be able to serve in a way that blessed our larger family - both the 4,000 people who were attending the conference, as well as the many others who joined us online.
I could say so much more about the things that God did, but I will leave you with some pictures and videos below that better capture the atmosphere of the conference, and the incredible things that God did!

As part of the conference, on Wednesday, we partnered with the local Church in Pattaya and Thailand and sent 4,000 people into the city of Pattaya, to Shine His light!
