I wasn't planning on telling about what happened in YTEPP again, but today was different. I could almost feel a connection with the boy. I lost count of how many times I caught him looking at me (even though I wasn't keeping count in the first place lol) When the time came, we helped put the tools in the wheelbarrow and Aleem carted them off. I was pushing my sweater into my bookbag when I heard a loud crash nearby. The barrow was on its side, the tools on the ground and Aleem next to them, looking surprised. I ran over to help him. "That was..unexpected..." he said. I helped him put the tools back in the barrow and told him to be careful. As soon as I went back to my bag, I finished shoving my sweater in and got a 20 dollars. (forgive this language though, it's Trini. Don't mind it) I folded it up and held it tightly in my right hand. I only had a chance to give it to him when he got in Sir's car. I told him to keep it. I walked on, and Sir drove the car up to me and cruised alongside me. "I don't understand," Sir said. "What's it for?" "Travelling expenses?" I replied, shrugging. I gained a little more speed, but once again the car came up to me. They said something again, but I forget. "Just keep it," I told him. "Do whatever you want with it." "Thanks anyway!" Aleem shouted from the car as I was heading down the hill. "You're welcome!" I answered. I couldn't stop blushing as I walked home. And the song 'Raidioactive' was stuck in my head.
