I SAW YOU IN MY DREAM เธอ ฉัน ฝัน เรา — 2024, dir. Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee
Yes, they made out, but did you see him carry him up a flight a stairs?!
The horniness is mutual all around, everyone is checking in with each other before things get going, they're checking in with each other while things are going, consent is being asked for and given, boundaries are being respected, the sex is giggly and joyful and loving.
This show is a treasure and a delight!
Shout out to P'Yu and whatever muscles are going on under those shirts that let him hoist his man up and carry him from outside and up a staircase.
Random thoughts about I Saw You In My Dream (EP 8):
I finally know why I like I Saw You in My Dream so much. It's because it's giving me the same vibes I got from City of Stars. I love that series so much and that's why I Saw You In My Dream resonates so much to me.
Fueang and Krom's gentle care and romance feel the same as the love between Yu and Ai.
It's the beauty of a sweet romance and the metaphor of dreams as connections between people. It's everything I truly like in a story. I also appreciate how the characters are trying to really talk to each other. The care and understanding between Yu and Ai are showing healthy communication skills.
By the way, I'm glad the love confession wasn't a dream. However, waking up besides each other naked was a dream and it was expected. Again, dreams were giving Ai a hint. It's better to be truthful than hiding things.
I was touched about how Ai found a way to talk about his feelings to his friend Yo and also mend fences with him after their big argument in the last episode. I feel like Yo is finally getting a bit of self growth and he definitely learned something from this experience. You can see how he cares about his brother and his friend.
I guess it gave him the courage he needed to truly think about his feelings and to find his way back to Ing. Maybe he will still make mistakes, but after all, this is also a story about growing up and becoming more confident.
I can't wait for next week to see how the two newly couples will navigate the intimacy of their relationship.
PS: I felt bad for Wann because in the end he was just a man in love with someone who couldn't return his feelings. However, he never took it badly and I hope he will find someone who will love him back.
