Think. Worked here all day today, and realized that probably the best thing about doing interviews (and the opportunity to do it with such a diverse set of subjects) is that it renews your belief in people, beyond whatever jadedness you might have, because there is (still!) thinking and analysis, a sense of history and nation, the fact of putting in the work and knowing what to value, and always a rethinking about what we’re doing, and why we’re doing it at all! in this context. Always good to get one’s own notions and beliefs challenged by real people doing real work and facing real struggles — even when those are not necessarily mine. #YuchengcoMuseum #workinggirl #writer #writing #hope
