"Caelus?" Dan Heng had noticed him pass the archives a while ago, but despite the late hour, his friend hadn't yet made his way back to his room. It's not like Dan Heng is worried per se, but he still thinks it unusual, to say the least. When he peaks his head into the kitchen area, he finds Caelus passed out on the table, hair all mussed and cheek pressed against the patterned wood. Dan Heng approaches with a soundless sigh and runs his fingers through gray locks in an effort to smooth them down. Dan Heng briefly considers carrying Caelus to bed, but he'd loathe to wake him up. It really looks like he is needing the rest. After pondering the problem, Dan Heng fetches himself a glass of water and sits down at the table next to Caelus. And if he keeps brushing his fingers along his fellow trailblazer's scalp, no one's there to see but him.

It was one of those nights ⸺ the nights that he had grown familiar to due to how often they happened. Yes, there were nights, where he was allowed peace, where he could sleep and have gentle dreams, but they were few and far between. Having yet not found a way to calm his nightmares, it was something Caelus had slowly come to accept to simply be, a part of how he worked. For all he knew, it could have something to do with the stellaron within him ⸺ after all, he had heard it speak before in tempting whispers, so it wouldn't be far-fetched if it also fed him memories in the form of nightmares as it seemingly, was always portrayed as something negative ⸺ cancer of all worlds and all that.

Having decided to go to the kitchen, Caelus sat there for a while before he felt his eyes grow heavy. Perhaps it would be okay... if he just.... relaxed a bit here.

Unknown to Caelus, his body completely relaxes as soon as those familiar digits graced his scalp. A soothing sensation settled within his scarred chest and whichever nightmare that had been creeping in, quickly vanish and for a while, rest came easy. That was, until, the trailblazer slowly woke up. Golden depths opened weakly and warmth filled the exhausted male as his tired depths settled on none other than Dan Heng. A sleepy smile was soon aimed at the elder as he continued to lay on the wooden surface, feeling very content. Meanwhile, a soft tint appeared on the fair features due to the action of those gentle digits.

❝ Have I been out long? I apologize, if I made you sit here for long... ❞

What he wasn't sorry about, was the way that he leaned slightly into the moving digits.

"I want to comission you for something." Dan Feng gives no expression to hint at the nature of his request, but his tail is swaying behind him subconsciously. He steps closer, leaning into Yingxing's space. "A pair of wedding rings. Can you do it?"

It should come as no surprise that Yingxing halted his work upon feeling his lover's presence. Not only could he feel it caressing the edge of his senses, but also coming from the bracer, where a familiar warmth could be felt, a warmth that made a tender smile pull at fair lips. The master craftsman turned slightly as he laid down the document that had been resting between his calloused digits, something that was due to the many years that, Yingxing had worked at the forge, an occupation that had also greatly improved his physique.

Turning to focus fully on Dan Feng, purple depths blinked slowly in curiosity at the words. Oh? How interesting. Focusing briefly on the tail that moved behind the familiar male, Yingxing couldn't help the chuckle that left. However, upon hearing the next words, the craftsman halted as his heart raced, despite this perhaps not being, what it looked like, but why else would Dan Feng get close like that?

❝ I... Of course, I can. Is there a specific design that you desire? Words? ❞

If this truly was it, then it seemed Dan Feng beat him to it as he had planned on presenting him with the most beautifully crafted rings, rings that might even do, what their bracers did, but he had not figured it out quite yet, but he would, without a doubt, because Dan Feng deserved nothing less, for blessing him with his love.

Ren understood the anger, but not how great the anger would be from the hairdresser, he though soon saw it. He could figuratively feel it in the air before he saw those eyes turn especially sharp in the mirror. Had he been a normal man, then he would have slowly swallowed due to nervosity and fear, but being who he was, Ren merely gazed back into those depths, he found so very captivating. Dan Feng could easily put a divine being to shame, which was also why, Ren was so forward, but smooth, when it came to his flirting, with the other male. It was rare for him, to find someone, who ticked all of his boxes.

A deep groan left clenched teeth at the sudden hard tug on his dark locks, that made his head fall back so he could stare directly into those sharp eyes. Ren would be lying, if he said that he didn't feel heat run along his spine at the action. It was very unusual for him to get manhandled like this, but Ren would silently admit that he liked it. How brave.

❝ My, how fierce... ❞

A smirk was aimed at Dan Feng as Ren swallowed slowly, just to see if those familiar depths would follow the movement before he released a low chuckle as he was allowed to sit properly once more.

❝ You know, I would never disrespect your masterful work. I trust you and know, even with my hair like this, no one can do it better. What if I let you decide, where we go next as an apology. You can choose anywhere you desire. ❞

To no one's surprise, Dan Heng almost gets max marks. Dan Heng's calm presence, is just really perfect for Caelus, especially because he seems to effortlessly ground this wild star. What is even better, is how Dan Heng seems to see Caelus, when some might not, which is something Caelus really needs and appreciates. He also trusts Dan Heng with his life and wouldn't hesitate, for even a second, to show this. And only someone blind, would be able to overlook Dan Heng's beauty. Also, the fact that they can lean on each other is so beautiful to me, something that of course goes both ways.

If Aventurine properly thought about love, then he would, without a doubt, say that Veritas is the individual who deserves it the most. There is no one that he trusts more than him and no one, who he thinks about more nor he wants more. Though, despite all that, Aventurine also thinks that Veritas deserve so much better than someone, who will receive hatred and death threats, wherever he goes. He is scared that Veritas will end up receiving the same treatment, but gosh do I love them. I love how Veritas will end up being the one healing Aventurine and make him understand that he is deserving of his love, that despite it all, he will continue to love him and patiently kiss every scar and carefully mend every wound. Tbh, I love them in any setting, they just got a very special spot in my heart.

Kaveh trusts Cyno with his life and despite their difference, I do see Kaveh enjoying his company quite a bit. I also see them having a chance of becoming something more than friends due to Cyno's personality. And anyone can see that the General is attractive, an attractiveness that Kaveh has easily spotted more than once. I know we haven't written a lot with them, but I do already enjoy, what we have so far and look forward to seeing them grow.

Dan Feng slams the door open. "Time for your daily dick flattening." No 'hi honey' or 'how was your day'. His day was awful, and he needs Yingxing to make it better.

If he jumped slightly at the sudden way their door flew open, then no one had seen it, that was what Yingxing told himself as his purple depths settled on his husband.

And now, he was mentally preparing himself for an all-nighter, because he was no stranger to Dan Feng's endless amount of stamina and therefore knew that he was going to be sore and exhausted come morning, most likely littered in bite marks.
