The kid loves showing off what she can catch and originally she would only be showing Gun, Somi , Haruto, or Shintaro, but she couldn't find them that day and instead accidentally found Shingen.

Charm - Shingen’s daughter

This the most fun Yamazaki request yet! Pure crack.

(Name) was something of an animal charmer, her small hands always managing to grab onto animals that linger around the mansion. She wasn’t scared of grabbing random animals- no they were scared of her. Always running away whenever they sense the young girl, but she’s always faster. Actually- you’re more of an animal terrorizer.

It started off innocent, you and Haruto always fed the neighborhood strays. You found this one cat particularly adorable and wanted to show Somi. So you innocently shoved the wild stray cat into Somi’s arms, not knowing she’s severely allergic to cats. Then you found a stray pug, and named him Gun. Since he has the same sour expression Gun always have, plus they’re both weird looking. Last week, you found a skunk and wanted to show Shintaro. Just that you couldn’t find him so you left the skunk in Shintaro’s office…. And the skunk farted on him.

Today, you finally caught the snake that keeps escaping your grasp, and you wanted to show someone. You ran around the whole mansion, unable to find your family members. The only person you know is in the mansion is your dad who frankly does nothing all day. It wouldn’t hurt to show him, even through Shintaro banned you from entering.

You held the snake out to show Shingen, he doesn’t react, just stare at the animal. After a staring contest, you allow the snake out of your hand and it circled around Shingen.

“Minster, i think Fluffy likes you.” You smiled gleefully, not noticing the sound of the screen door opening.

“(Name)! Take that away!” Shintaro yelled. Surprised with his sudden presence, you let out a surprise scream. Scaring the snake in the process making it bite Shingen in defense. Before finally escaping out of the room

“What have you done!” Shintaro’s angry voice echo around the whole room.

You screamed again, running out of the room in fear. With a pissed off Shintaro on your tail.

“Why is my kid so weird.” Shingen grumbled. Not even noticing the venous snake bite.

“Ok, mister. I found a raccon that looks just like you!” You exclaimed loudly, holding up a paralytic raccon.

Shingen made eye contact with the raccon and the rabid animal escaped your grasp to bite Shingen. He didn’t even react, not even after multiple bites. You looked on in horror, and could only watch as the raccon chew through the screen door.

A confused Shintaro ran towards the sound, getting in the raccoon’s way and getting his ankle bitten in the process.

“(NAME)! HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING!”

“YES I HAVE.” You screamed, escaping through the window this time, and Shintaro jumped the window right after you.

Gapryong might’ve made Shingen depressed, but you, his tiny 6 year old daughter, nearly killed him and his brother.

Two Tales, One Ending - Shingen x Reader x Shintaro

One-shot fit this scenario better. Pretend the brothers are identical twins when they’re prob fraternal twins.

“Shingen-san?” You knocked at the door, and opened it when you heard a faint yes. “I hope I’m not bothering you. Here’s your tea.”

Shingen sat unmoving on his bed, finally turned to face you when you moved into his view. You searched for his eyes, finding a faint fondness in them. Had it been anyone else, eye contact alone would’ve gotten them lashes. But it’s you, he would never even think of hurting you.

You offered the tea to him, and he took it.

“Sing for me.”

You nod and performing a dance to accommodate his favorite song.

Having been employed as a plain maid for the Yamazakis’, you didn’t expect to catch the eyes of both Shingen and Shintaro. In a fit of insomnia, you decided to practice your singing. You didn’t know this part of the courtyard was right outside Shintaro’s quarters. Since then Shintaro asked you to sing for him more. Always gave you applauses, back pats and once, a kiss on the cheek. His touch linger for longer than it should but you didn’t know how to tell him to stop.

One day Somi overheard your singing and was convinced your voice would cheer Shingen up. It did. Shingen started to move more and talk more. Though his words were only directed towards you, others have to guess the meaning of his actions. Yesterday, you even saw him smile for the first time.

Shingen asked for you often, much to the grimace of Shintaro. But he allowed it, seeing how lively his brother became around you. You were glad too, Shingen was presence had more warmth to it.

Shingen smiled at you when your preformce ended and you returned it. You bowed and gathered the now empty cup, readied to leave him to rest.

“Stay with me tonight.” Shingen asked, looking at you almost pleadingly.

Your eyes soften. “Of course.”

In the morning, you found your hand intertwined with his.

Your hand covered your mouth, trying desperately not let out a sound. You back against a door. Yet, you could still hear the footsteps get closer and louder. Until it stops.You sucked in a big breath of air, faking smile to hide your horrorifed state.

The door opened, revealing a frenzied Shintaro. Fully black eyes, bruised, broken and covered in blood. You moved back against the wall, the furthest away possible.

“(Name),I did it. I killed Shingen.”

You gasped and a tear spilled.“… Oh.”

His face grow irritated and he grabbed your neck.“Oh. Is that all you have to say? To your new husband?”

You hiccup, forcing a smile which made him let go of your neck.“Yes…! I’m so happy for you…. But.. i overheard the promise.. to Somi-san.”

Shintaro laughed loudly, and the sound made your stomach drop.“I got rid of her. Foolish woman. Unworthy to sit next to me.”

You didn’t get time to react before he kissed you aggressively. His hand gripped your shoulders tightly. In panic, you shove him away. His face turned darker and his hold on you became even tighter.

“But i can’t be next to you either!…. Im pregnant with Shingen’s baby.”

That was a lie. You never slept with Shingen, you weren’t interested and he respected your wishes.

Still Shintaro’s hand didn’t leave you. “We’re twins.” He ripped off your shirt. “His son could be my son. I could be your son’s dad.”

At his words, you couldn’t help but let a tear shed. Especially when he started to kiss your neck, and you bit your lips to not shiver.

“We can still be a happy little family.”

Shintaro married you for duty.

Yet he can’t help but stare at you all the time. Watching your reaction every time he gets you something you like, and that little smile of yours. It was enchanting. Maybe he is a little grateful for his duty.

A year after the wedding, Haruto was born, your pride and joy. Shintaro was fond of his son too, who was a good enough of a person to support his cousin and the heir. Haruto had always showed great intelligent and potential for leadership. A fine vice president one day. The one thing Shintaro didn’t like, Haruto was far too peace loving for a Yamazaki. But he brushed it off for the moment, he could grow up to be the manager for the legal front of the Yakuza.

What Shintaro couldn’t look past is his son using his words to entice the heir into his pathetic ideology. An ideology that he supposed Haruto got from you.

Traitors don’t deserve funerals, thats what Shintaro believed in firmly. Yet there he stood, in front of the traitorous boy’s coffin. Shintaro was only there to make sure you don’t bury yourself too. Ever since you learned of your son’s death, you’ve been unresponsive. He doesn’t get it. He didn’t bother with telling you why the traitor had to die. You wouldn’t get it, you aren’t a real Yamazaki.

The sprinkle in your eye disappeared, you didn’t react to anything. He brought you gold, something you previously cover yourself with, you didn’t react. Not even the butter lobster tails you said you would drown yourself in got your attention. Not even the fan fiction with the exact plot, character personalization and tropes of your dream got your attention. Nothing caught your eyes.

You were just frozen, in a trance.

He just let you be, you probably saw something in that unruly child. Perhaps he should call an eye doctor for you.

But then the ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of the Yamazaki clan rolled around. Usually duty of hosting would fall on the president’s wife but since Shingen is unmarried, that duty fell on your head.

Shintaro knocked on the door to your bedroom. Just to find you staring at the knife Haruto ended himself. Alarmed he took the knife from you and stared at you intensely.

“Where did you get this from?!”

“Gun told me everything….” You voice was empty and you just started at the spot where the knife was at.

“(Name), I did what i had to do.”

Filled with rage, you shot up and slapped him. “By killing my- our son?”

Shintaro sighed, looking fed up with this conversation. “It’s the best for the clan.”

You laughed hysterically.“I see…. I married a monster, a clan of monster.” You broke into tears. “..Haruto… im so sorry.” You feel onto your knees and cried further.

Shintaro left the room, not willing to deal with your non-sense any longer.

From the second Shingen first saw you. He fell in love. He married you on the spot.

You heard some people argue your beauty was akin to Helen. Which Shingen would then argue you’re better than, Aphrodite herself couldn’t rival you.

He enjoyed watching you dance, the way he never seen someone with more grace than you. The way your touch makes him melt, the way no other woman could. The way you screamed his name when you’re under him. He cared for you in his own way, you never wash a dish or shirt ever again and never had to cook your own food. He was addicted to you to the point of obsession, and there’s no way he ever let you go.

You grew to care for Shingen. Really, you did.

It’s because of him that you didn’t face what other korean women faced. It’s because of his attraction to you, that you avoided the fate of other women. You heard stories of women not only being forced upon, but being blinded or deafen for refusing. Yet you lay next to the leader himself. Given a tittle, servants attending to your every need and in an expensive house.

All you need to do is to keep the Shingen’s attention. So, maybe you weren’t so different from other the comfort women afterall. Against your will. Only difference is that youre in a golden cage.

All of the Yamazaki clan were too afraid to tell Shingen of your death. He was confused to why you didn’t greet him but figured you wanted to tease him and to bring gifts first. So when he waltzed into your room with diamond jewels in hand, where he found your corpse. Your blood was still warm, your face peaceful, looking like an angel resting. He supposed, you are an angel in enteral rest. Unbothered by the sharp katana in your stomach.

For the first time in his time, he felt sorrow. Deep sorrow. Not sorry enough to realize your pain or enough to ask what you want. He laid next to your corpse that night, embracing you as if you never left.

Not even your dead body is yours.

The next day, you were laid to rest after the most elaborate funeral ceremony. In Japan, the country you hated. In that Yamazaki family tomb, where he would be buried after his death. Next to you.

Blood was shed once more when the terrified doctor who performed your autopsy told him that you were expecting. Everyone in the mansion was killed for failing to protect the heir.

From then on, he fell into a trance. The countless women who slept with him, resembled you to him.

Shintaro stared at his brother in concern, he hasn’t moved in days.

“Fine, I’ll allow it.”

Shingen looked at his brother in shock. Look of glee shined in his eyes.

“Just don’t forget your duty.”

Shingen personally asked for your hand in marriage. You were just the daughter of a nurse, Shingen’s nurse to be exact. You talked to him a couple of times in his youth and that was enough for him to be in love with you. You always thought of yourself as rather plain but apparently something about you was special, and you aren’t sure if you’re glad or not. But it’s not like your parents could refuse the Yamazakis anyways and you were shipped off to the mansion.

Shingen isn’t that bad actually, you were surprised. He treats you with respect and kindness, it’s least you expected from a husband; but given it’s a man with his reputation, you expected worst. You were content living life this way. The one thing that worried you was that Shingen is the president, your child would be his heir. You didn’t want to your kid to grow up to be a mere pawn.

You ran.

Words of your pregnancy and later disappearance reached Shingen’s ears far faster than what you’d like. You barely even settled in a small village.

Shingen wasted no time looking for you, ripping apart those he suspect had something to your disappearance. Causing unease and terror in every town and village in his path.

On a quiet night, you were getting ready to sleep, your door flew off its hinges. The moonlight illuminated the figures of a large man, his face is coved, the scent of iron isn’t lost on you.

You froze on the spot, you were terrified.

He walked closer to you and you instinctively flinched and moved away from him. “You’re okay.” He warped his arms around your comparatively fragile frame in a protective manner. “I was so worried.”

The feeling of shock subsided and confusion wash over you.“…Huh? Youre not mad?”

“No.” He looked you almost offended. Before caressing and press a light kiss on your stomach. “I promise, I will be a good father.”

You smile at his action. It’s not ideal and you would have a lot of concerns to address, but for now, at least Shingen promise to be good dad to your child.

“Everyone, she is the pearl of our clan. Protect her with your life.” Shingen exclaimed loudly. Followed you running into the room and grabbing her angrily.

“Shingen! Stop showing off our baby! You’re going to scare her!”

“Sorry. I got too excited.”

You started at him with a don’t-talk-to-me-or-my-baby look and left. Slamming the door as you do. Shingen looked at the spot disheartened, an expression that rival the look he had when Gapryong defeated him.

No one dared to speak, but the shock was evident in their face.

Shintaro wonders, just how is the Yamazaki clan supposed to maintain their image with Shingen acting like a love sick fool. Still, Shintaro grinned slightly, it reminded him of their childhood and when they were burst into their father’s meetings. Though their mother beat their asses afterwards. With a sigh, he kicked his brother out of the room, letting him chase after you.

BONUS:

He watched as you cradle the toddler in your arms, and kiss the top of her head. Before tugging her into bed and reading a story to her.

He smiled but that smile dropped as quickly as it came. He shouldn’t be feeling this way towards his own child, but he wants to sit on your lap (even tho it’ll crush you, but he’s too envious to even think), be kissed, and just generally have your full attention.

After the girl fell asleep, you walked out of the room to a pacing Shingen who looks… concerned?

“Sure?” You giggled. Amused by the fact that the great Yamazaki Shingen was so desperate for your attention.

“It’s nothing.”

You looked at his annoyed expression for a second before smiling. “Is it because of Jaegyeon?”

Damn. Is he that obvious?

“No.”

You smiled cheekily, poking his cheeks. “Awh, are you jealous? Don’t worry! You’re still my best friend!”

That word bothered him for the rest of the night.

One. You considered that tacky bastard your friend too.

Two. He doesn’t want to be your friend. Not just your friend. Seongji may have lived the majority of his life on the mountain, but this yearning feels different. It feels pleasant, warm even. Surely, this isn’t platonic right?

He tossed and turned that night. Staring at the moonlight hoping sleep would release him of this torment. Yet all he can imagine is you. Especially the way your hand would brush against his. The way your finger poked his cheek. How would your lip feel against his own? He chased those thoughts away, too flustered to even consider it.

He wish he hadn’t. Now images of you glaring at him like the way the villagers do dominated his mind.

He didn’t get any sleep that night.

“Yeah. He looks like about to drop. He almost burnt his hand earlier.”

“Seongji is stressed about something. I’m not sure about what, he wouldn’t tell me.”

The kids turned to look at you. Their face painted with shock. Normally their teacher tells you everything but he wouldn’t tell you as well?

After a week of watching Seongji get worse, you had enough. You cornered him in his own home, determined for answers.

“What’s up with you this week? Why do you look so ill? Have you been sleeping properly?”

“It’s nothing.”

“Right. The extra dark circle under your eyes? Burning your hand? The kids are worry about you? Nothing?” He stayed silent, refusing to be even acknowledge you. “Seongji. Please, tell me.” Your stare got more intense. “I’m worry about you.”

“It’s you.” You look at him confused, while he couldn’t meet your eyes, cheeks flushed pink. “Ever since you called me your best friend.” He paused, unsure of what else to say. “I.. i don’t know- I don’t want to be just your friend.”

Seeing your frozen surprise face, the images of you glaring at him intensified. He move past you, afraid this might trigger a PTSD attack.

His heart sunk. Regret.

His thoughts were interrupted when you hugged him, made him freeze in his tracks. “Seongji, I like you too.”

For the first time in his life, he understood what it meant to have your heart pound in a euphoric way.
