Relaxed, Finally

It’s been hella stressful lately with the move to an entirely new house and renovations for it so that it’s ready (hopefully) by Christmas, or a little after. Otis @destinysplayhouse has been ensuring I’ve been comfortable and somewhat stress free, so we’ve been staying in a hotel. But today, we popped up at the house, as per his request, and he showed me this beautiful little outside nook. Needless to say, I LOVE it. 

Anyways, how have you all been? What’s up! Who has some interesting decor ideas for a new home? haha

I’m Still Alive 

I know some of you haven’t seen my face in a VERY long time, but rest assured I’m back and better than ever! I don’t even know how to BEGIN to tell you what’s been going on in my crazy, hectic life. Okay, I’ve moved houses. Well, it wasn’t necessarily by choice if I want to get technical. Otis wanted me to have more space and not feel confined. The more stuff he brought in, the more cluttered the place seemed. I mean, I was fine with it, but he didn’t want me around that. 

So, here we are, in a new house, where we practically have to start over, but it’s a little challenge for me, and something I look forward to - to give myself busy-work. @helloitskeetz I will definitely need your help. You see how empty this little nook area is. What should I do? 

The school’s opening has been pushed back for reasons I don’t want to get into, but it may be in the Spring, so stay on the lookout.  The wedding, lord the wedding, has a TBA date, so be on the lookout for those that wish to attend. I still have to hit potential bridesmaids up. If they even like me anymore haha. 

Anyways, I’m glad to be back, to reconnect, to make new friends, and to just vibe with everyone. What have I missed?  + Oh, and CLICK FOR HQ; I barely edited the photos, my style changed up but I didn’t want to do much to these nearly raw edits

Where’s Waldo... and Wilma, too. 

I may, or may not, have convinced Otis to become my Waldo, even though I don’t ever have to go searching for him, but in these crowds I’m glad he dressed up the way he did (or agreed to it anyways). The nerdiness in me wanted to dare to be different, and the creative juices went flowing. I’m surprised @otisbishop agreed to this kind of thing. I will also say that yes... I was a little frightened by the mannequins. Some of these photos are candid reactions of my fear.  

I’m excited to turn up and enjoy the entertainment tonight. @bloodbash2017 is about to be LIT! We snuck off to the Bruno Mars room. I can’t wait for the performances.

@mzzakariwilliams I done stole your child

This little girl is so darn cute and extremely playful. I’m addicted already, Zakari. So cute my tail is having baby fever and that needs to stop RIGHT NOW. This post is long overdue...

Anyways, hello everybody. I’ve missed your faces and speaking to ya’ll. I’m sorry I’ve been away. I was having some business that I needed to attend to... and @otisbishop and I have been all up under each other ever since the engagement (okay...it’s me... I’ve been all up under him).

An ATTEMPT at Productivity 

Every time I try to be a little productive, my lovely fiance @otisbishop somehow causes a distraction. First it was a few pictures, then he dragged me back to the bed. We’re in another part of the city attempting to handle business/personal things, and we haven’t even started because of this... 

I ain’t complaining though. Not. At. All.

Gracie’s 21st 

Special shoutout to @fallfornique for distracting me in the last shot! She said something I won’t even repeat. Just know I thumped her nose afterwards. 

I would like to scream at the top of my lungs HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @gracieluvsgummies. I understand your birthday was officially days ago, but still, I wanted to shout it again. I appreciate you allowing me to attend your birthday celebration. Let the fun, laughter, distractions by Nique, and turn up begin!

Fiancé and I 

I still can’t believe it. Calling him my fiancé just feels like a dream...  Anyways, today my fiancé and I went to go look at some furniture for no reason in particular. I was intrigued by the shop I’d seen @fallfornique and @forthalola (sorry for bothering you with the tag, honey) go to. Nique came through with a quick response. Anyways, we didn’t stay for long because @otisbishop, being the serial romantic that he is, took me to a cute little Gazebo tucked away from prying eyes and... well.. he... 

Anywho! I had fun today... I’m still like... oh my goodness.... I just...

Leave it up to @otisbishop to not be dressed and ready to go and he knows I’m hungry. So, I nibbled on his back to let him know to hurry on up...
