I watched some woman on YouTube talking about Atlantis and lemuria and this kind of stuff , and I see that some people really go nuts with the theories and lack the ability of understanding and critical thinking, yet that person was the only one who put the idea of Atlantis to be more like a symbolic story/ symbolic term, rather than an actual place. I can't find the vid in my history but it was quite different from what most new age crap accounts post. ( yk the ones where each video looks like a news headline about the galactic Council or whatever)
I think something else that was mentioned is that life on earth is cyclical, nothing about suffering and ending up in some sort of hell because you don't convert to new age beliefs, just that the earth can go to phases of " death " and " rebirth " where civilisations fall and new ones take their place etc, and either build upon what was left , or make their own way of life, beliefs set and societal organisations. If I'm not wrong this is also present in some Eastern beliefs, like the kali yuga phase being an age of destruction, the samsara like a wheel of reincarnation .
Sounds like she's got the right idea of what to do with the idea of Atlantis.
The Yuga Cycle, however, is... not really about that. It's a bit different and has its own particular details to it.
And the Wheel of Reincarnation is also not that. Again, it's got its own particular details.
