Finally done! Wanted to take a crack at designing the main Yugioh protags as ponies. I've never drawn ponies before but I love all the potential the lore has. Also this is my first Yugioh fanart (well of the characters not the monsters) despite hyperfixating on it for over two years now 😭 listen drawing humans is hard especially humans with whack hair so you get ponies instead. I'll probably also do a warrior cat au and dragon au at some point. Cringe is dead and I am free.

I don't have a fully flushed au or anything but just some silly ideas. Yugi and Judai are alicorns (this is the only au where Yugi gets to be tall) Yugi started as a unicorn and Judai a pegasus.
I think Yuya would also end up as an alicorn after fusing with all his counterparts as they're all split up as different pony races (Yuya's an earth pony, Yuto a bat pony, Yugo a Pegasus, and Yuri a unicorn).
Yusaku is a unicorn but his playmaker avatar would be a Pegasus and Ai is a challenging.
Yudias isn't any of the known pony races since he's an alien - leaned a bit towards Kirin and zebra aspects with him but he's just kinda of a mystery.
