I wanted to request an imagine where Yukhei and Y/N are both idols and foreigners. Maybe they comfort each other over homesickness when their group members go home for a Korean holiday and are left alone in the dorms. Btw I think your writing is amazing I love reading it
(A/n: Thank you very much love! I made a couple of changes to the request, but I hope you like it!)

The sound of chatter surrounded you and your group of friends as you were saying your goodbyes.
“Hope you guys have fun!” You say with a big smile.
“I wish we could come with us!” One of your friends says.
“Me too, but I have to stay.” you say with a sad but, reassuring look.
“Now boarding flight 232”
“Time to go.”
You give each of your friends a hug and wish them a safe flight, and they started to walk to their terminal. While you were walking back to your car, it was just you and a tall man next to you in the hallway. Feeling a bit social you tried to start a conversation.
“Did you also drop people off here?”
Not really expecting a conversation he looked over at you.
“I’m sorry what?” he said
“Did you drop anyone off here?”
“Oh yeah, couple of my friends. You?”
“Yeah, dropped of all the girls from y/g/n.”
He quickly turns to look at you again. “Wait, are you y/n!” he said in excitement.
“Mhm.” You hum to him and look up at him with a smile on your face.
“I love your music, I’m actually an artist too.”
“Thank you, and really.” You look at him hoping he was going to talk about it more.
“Yeah, actually the friends I dropped off were from NCT.”
You quickly look back at him and tenderly grab his arm as he removes his mask. “Oh my gosh, you’re Lucas from NCT!” Once you said that, his full smile was formed on his face. “So you know about me too, that’s good.” he chuckled.
You giggle and then he asks why you aren’t joining your friends.
“I couldn’t go.” you say shrugging your shoulders.
“Why’s that?”
“I don’t have my holiday yet. And they were going to visit their families.”
“Why aren’t you going with your friends?” You ask.
“The same as you.”
“Oh right because you are from Hong Kong, right?”
“Yep and I’m assuming you are also not from here.”
“You’re right, do you know where?” You look at him in curiosity
“Hm,” he paused for a long time. “I actually don’t.” He said surprised “Where are you from?”
“I’m from America, since my group is relatively new, I’m not asked questions surrounding my origins.” You say patting the sides of your legs.
You finally get to the parking lot of the airport and get to the cross walk.
“Well it was very nice to meet you Lucas.” You say with your small smile. “It was also very nice to meet you too Y/n and you can call Yukhei.”
“Okay, Yukhei hopefully I’ll see you around and maybe sometime we could hang out.” You say.
“Yeah! That would be cool. Here, why don’t I get your number so we can try and plan something.” He says pulling out his phone from his back pocket.
“I like that idea!” You say giggling, once you both had each others numbers, you wave to him and started to walk to your car.
The very next day you guys went to the little café on the corner by your apartment.
“Did your friends have a nice flight?” He asked as you both stood in line to order.
“Majority of them did, but one of them told me how the person behind her stuck their feet out and hit her elbow.” You said laughing
“That’s funny” he said chuckling along with you.
“How were your friends?” You ask
“They told me that their flight was good, but I do remember Mark telling me that he fell getting out of the plane.” He started to laugh shaking his head.
“Aw, I wish I could have saw that.” You say laughing too
“Me too.”
You both order your drinks and small cakes.
You walk over to a table for two and place the little dishes down.
You ordered the usual, an iced matcha tea and a tiramisu. Yukhei ordered a hot chocolate and vanilla cake.
As the two of you were eating, you would tell each other stories of what you would do when you were younger.
After a couple of stories Yukhei saw you looking down at your drink, stirring the almost nonexistent liquid. “Do you miss it?” He asked calmly.
You look up at him and smile, stretching out your arms. “I do sometimes. I wonder how my old friends are doing, how my family is.”
You pause.
“But, I know that when I get to visit, I’ll miss it here.” You say looking around. “Korea has become my second home. I may not have been living here long but, I’m already attached.”
Once you were done talking you look back at him and smile. “Do you miss Hong Kong?”
“Well of course.” He said “But the way you described everything just now can speak for the both of us.” He said smiling back at you.
When you both finished eating, you cleaned up the table and walked to the door. The wind blew and you quickly wrapped your thin jacket around yourself.
“Cold?” He looked down at you.
You giggled before you spoke “A little.” You said smiling at him.
“Here.” He took off his jacket and handed it to you.
“Won’t you be cold?” you said moving it slightly back towards him.“I’ll be fine.” he said fluffing his hoodie “I have this.”
“Thank you.” You wrap the jacket around yourself ‘warm’ you hum to yourself.
Cherry blossoms fell above as you started walking on a bridge, looking over the rail, your reflection stared back smiling. You look over to your right to see Yukhei looking down with you.
“This reminds me of a place back home.” you say directing your attention back to your reflection.
“I would go to this one pond that had a bridge over the small canal and would always look over the edge so I could see the water.”
Yukhei started to look more in your direction.
“I always loved to see the water trickle down the bridge and hit the water to then create water rings.” You look to the end of the bridge and watch the water slowly fall.
“Is this making you homesick?” He asked no longer looking at your reflection, and now looking at your profile.
“A little but, it’s getting better.” You look at him, still on your tippy toes to lean on the rail.
You push off the rail and start walking down the bridge and he follows.
“So where are we going now?” He asked once you get to the cross walk. “Um… I really don’t know.” You say looking up at him.
“It’s actually getting pretty late and it looks like it’s about to rain, why don’t we call it a day?”
“Okay”
“Here let me walk you home.”
The feeling of a light mist would hit your soft skin causing it to tighten. Clicking of two pairs of shoes were the only things heard on the wet pavement. The reflection of bright lights getting distorted with every step, only a block away from your dorm.
You break the silence.
“Thank you.”
“For what?” He said looking down at you.
“Well, you helped me get over my homesickness.”
“I did, how?”
“I got to relive memories from when I was younger. It feels like, like we grew up together.”
You get to the door of your dorm.
“So I wanted to say thank you for making me feel like I’m home.” You say smiling at him.
“Well, you are welcome.” He said tilting his head forward.
“And thank you.”
“For what?”
“I’m also no longer homesick.”
“Oh well you are very welcome.” You look up and giggle with him.
“Oops, I need to give you your jacket.” you say and start to take it off.
“It’s fine, you can keep it.”
“What, oh no I can’t.”
“No really keep it, maybe it can help you when you feel homesick.” After that you put the jacket back on and waved goodbye.
