Insektober day 2: Garden!
It may surprise you to know Krud City has its own garden! Of course, it must be self sufficient in order to ensure its citizens don't go hungry! Though, it's a lot different than Flowered City's gardens. The Kruds only grow microgreens, potatoes, wild onions, and rice, as anything more is seen as fanciful and decadent, and therefore a waste of the limited space the citadel can provide.
Akane and Kaboche offer helping hands in the garden by planting and watering a new bed of sprouts! They aren't carreer gardeners, they just help out when they feel like it. I could talk for AGES abt Krud n Verigreen culture ngl it is SO fucking fun I missed this sm LOL

Insektober day 3- Troop. Featuring Krabouic, Kaboche, and some OCs of mine... Metallika (pink) and Lockhart (brown). Again, colors are auto-generated, the actual characters are dark grey with various shell sheen colors.
also some drawings of Alectro for my fossil fighters project... it is very tough to color them traditionally!! I tried to make all the colors look like its alts from FF Champions because I think they all looked good already. However, I will definitely tweak these whenever I draw them digitally, because some of the color choices were definitely just “the next best color” for me... legs especially...
insektober day 16: Future
its called future cuz Princess Saturn here is actually a fankid design! She's Bakrakra and Lukanus' kid. She's an antlion! She looks a little silly cuz I actually designed her as a baby first n didn't think abt how adult antlions look like discount dragonflies. So to keep her recognizable ish I decided she'd have a few neotenic features like her sharp jaws n "fur" but she'd also have adult features like antennae, (stunted) wings, and a tail. I rlly like her wings, they look like screaming faces.
She seems like she'd be funny! I dont hve much written abt her though because she's not rlly part of my funny rewrite plans, she's just an OC I made because I thought it'd be fun if she existed essentially/thought itd be cute if Lukanus was a parent. He would be so proud of her even though she likes causing problems on purpose <3
I also think her relationship to Queen Bakrakra could be interesting! Not to get too into spoilers for the comic but Max's relationship to the monarchy is complicated so maybe Bakrakra would be happy to have a daughter who's actually passionate abt Krud City? Though Saturn's existence is also kind of scandalous because Bakrakra and Lukanus aren't married!! Or are they? I don't think they are, no. I think Lukanus is just her consort or something. Unofficially. NOT canon lmao. Anyways disregard everything I just said cuz Saturn isnt real unless I SOMEHOW put her in my rewrite which I WONT unless I FEEL LIKE IT IDK
