Corporate Mandated Yulepassing Greetings from all of us on the Vast Error team! It’s been a long year filled with changes, emotions, and most importantly: young adult angst. So we thought it might be best to round out the year with something a little more novel and lighthearted instead of the dour straits we normally find these trolls in.

It’s been great watching the project grow so much over the past year. It’s shmaltzy as hell, but the fanbase is the best gift we could ever ask for. We’re looking forward to the next year with you. But until then, happy holidays!

Gather round children, for today I will tell you about Yulepassing.

Yulepassing is a Repitonian holiday taking place over a wice or so at the start of the 12th perigees solstice.  It is actually made by the remaining Repitonian corporations to keep what remains of the planetary population upbeat and cheerful during the rather strenuous conditions of the planet during this time of a latter sweep, and the trolls actually do follow it because the planet is just so bleak that they need something to fend off all that stress and fear. They will basically take what they can get. 

Trolls are given one gift each from said corporations, it is always unknown what the gift could be.You can either risk it all and keep said gift, whatever it may be. Or, you can pay it forward to another troll.

Doing this normally invokes a rationally emotional response, and is a sign of solidarity amongst friends and chosen partners alike. Or could even be a calling card of hidden feelings or deep trust. Trolls can also of course make their own gifts if they are feeling excessively charitable but this rarely ever happens. 

If you do keep your only gift or don't open it at all though, you are basically considered a crumudgeon and it will push people away from you in the process more than likely given the circumstances. 

It’s not a holiday that’s cherished, but it is one that is needed.
